plenty of new users who only post in 'untilted' related
threads..who would have thought. i never thought of them
being this popular :-)

they must feel alone after autechre.nu has been closed.

I don't think they're so great.

autechre are really good. this is probably the reason for
them being so popular.

yes, but i'd expect afx to be more popular to be honest..not
talking about music here just of my perception on popularity
thing :)

i'll burn in hell..

i percieve autechre and afx to be equally popular in 'idm'
world. afx is probably more popular in the 'real' world.

i thought at first that you were a kid mostly buried under
the snow with just his head and glove poking out. then i
realized you were a beach with starfish and snail. it's
going to take some time to adjust to my new perception of
you.

you can't be that surprised, after all auchtechre are so
immense, their sound is so intelligent and only clever
people understand it.

it's like how much better can autechre get, and the answer
is, well, none better really.

can someone tell me how to program an F key so it prints
autechre because its a bastard to type out 3 million times

Don't you think it was a ploy by Phobia and his multiple
account CX, that by releasing the (as yet unconfirmed)
tracklisting here, and then CX ranting over 300 posts all
manner of bollocks, to effect some sort of recruitment drive
for XLT?

offline dog_belch from Netherlands, The on 2005-02-17 11:23 [#01502577]

In fact, as Phob is pally with Autechre apparently, he gives
out a fake tracklisting, the fake album comes out with that
listing, 2 in fact, Autechre and Phob are in the sauna
laughing.

offline dog_belch from Netherlands, The on 2005-02-17 11:24 [#01502579]

That would explain why he didn't give the times, and why he
won't confirm / deny. Oh I've gone all overboard now.

once on another forum i visit there was a topic about
"artists everyone seems to think are geniuses, but you just
don't get why..." (or something like that, artists you're
"supposed" to love but don't).

Autechre was the name that appeared the most often.

not surprisingly. : )

sounds possible, yes..

although, i'd go with that other version, the fact that
autechre.nu was closed.

earthleakage, just make it short - 'ae' , i think everyone
will get that.

Neither am I, oddly. I had a bad experience with Drukqs
leaks. A couple of the tracks I was listening to for months
didn't actually exist, as I learned when I bought the real
thing. I don't want to be discombobulated again.

i wouldn't want peopole to think i'm faking it, and i'm not
too keen the whole 'is he talking about autechre or has he
just stubbed his toe' grey area which may arouse suspicion
and fear.
