I got this Aphex Twin "On (remixes)" (WAP39CDR) cd, but the pressing on the cd itself is the pressing from the original "On" cd (WAP39CD). So the written tracklist on the cd itself is "1. on 2. 73-yips 3. d-scape 4. xepha", while the actual tracklist is the remix tracklist.... Is this a known misprint? |

the "ring" in the middle of the disc says WAP39CDR, but the text on the disc says that it's WAP39CDR.... should I maybe put this up for grabs on eBay?? |

I guess it's one of those things that can get pricey in 20+ years time, when we are in our midlifecrisis and want to relive those golden years through collecting all that is Aphex. I would do a bit of research, find out how many of these mispresses there are. I don't think it's many, cause it's the kind of thing labels generally try to avoid. If you want the big bucks, save it for 10+ years. |

it's more of a mis-label than a mispress. due to the error, i should think it's worth less than a normal copy, not more. it's more annoying than collectable. |

If you're going to get technical, I guess it is :) The price is often dictated by the level of collectors/completists an artist/band has. I don't have any examples but I'm shure a mislabeled Beatles-single fetch quite some money. Offcourse the Aphex-market is not as thriving as The Beatles market, but given enough time the completists will start to search for obscure editions like these. |

make that 3.... got mine about 4 years ago in dublin with the same problem. Also, i have the "on" single with the remix tracklist printed on the cd.. .. so i got both "on" cd's with the same error! |
