how often do you get really sick?

not including a little cold. i usually get very sick about
once a year. usually in january or february. in fact, i'm
very sick right now. i went to bed a little before 6 am
feeling ok, and woke up several times before noon with a
stomach ache. finally, i had to go to the bathroom, and
when i stood up i felt nauseaus and extremely achey all
over. so, i did my vomiting thing, which was really painful
because i didn't have anything in my stomach really, so you
know how that goes. pure bile. i felt fine afterwards,
save for the achiness (i have a terrible head ache and my
legs and back hurt), and went back to bed...then i kept
waking up nauseaus all day. and now, it's almost 7 pm and
i've just gotten up and puked. i felt like i was going to
die! so i drank some diet mountain dew (it is gross by the
way) and ate some saltines.

so, how about you?

i was just thinking yesterday, i'm going to try really hard
to take my vitamins and be healthy because i don't want to
miss class. my luck! at least i don't have any classes
today; hopefully i'll feel better tomorrow, although it's
doubtful.

Thankfully not too much, I think my immune system is pretty
strong. I was ill recently with food poisioning, though, and
I'd forgotten just how painful it is to be violently sick
(especially once an hour or so for a whole day) like that.
Awfuls.

i am sick actually.influenza,it happens 3-4 times / year.
I always become sick if:

- i drink a lot of caffeine drinks;

- smoke more than 2 packs of cigs (trembling, nausea and
stuff);

- bits of insects (fever,etc etc...);

- anxiety attacks ;

- suicidal feelings,depression and stuff.

I was quite sick about two weeks ago.

I was in bed all day and missed three classes. I vomited
twice. Head and stomach aches ensued throughout most of the
day.

Fortunately, it was only that one day.

i dont remember the last time I was so sick I vomited...it
must have been at least 3 years ago. But I had symptoms of
a cold for the first 17 years of my life because doctors are
stupid.

Strep throat and/or ear infections annually, but this year I
haven't had so much as a runny nose. Maybe its the green
tea I've been drinking... if I don't get sick all year I'm
sold.

Not often at all, less than once in three years. I don't
even remember when I was sick last time, so that I missed
job or university or school. Maybe when I was 17 or 18.

I feel a little sick several times a year (5 or so), like
catching small cold but that doesn't count.

I'm generally pretty ok. I might get pretty disabling flu
every couple of years where a cup of lemsip is permanenently
shaking in my sweating hands.

I get nauseous fairly regularly... anxiety is my trigger and
its such a disabling symptom. Although I think I'm beginning
to get a handle on it after a few months of fuckedupness.
Although like Chris Morris says, you do get a kind of
bizzare euphoria after a session's vomiting... true.

Bulemia is happiness

Damn you guys are healthy.. I'll need to miss work at least
every two months, usually just a cold but bad enough to keep
me in bed for a couple of days.

It might make a difference that I live in a major city, work
10hrs a day in a very stressful job and commute about 2
hours on top of that... Feeling completely burned out at 27
so it might be the time for a change of lifestyle. I'd say
80% of my illnesses are stress-related

hey, i'm feeling almost completely better today. no nausea,
just a headache and slightly achey muscles. i took some
ibuprofen and i've been enjoying edy's whole fruit
strawberry popsicles. also, i lost 7 pounds in 24 hours
from laying in bed because i didn't eat anything yesterday
(well, a popsicle). what a waste of a day off yesterday
was!

hay fever every summer, it gets worse ever year. apart from
that i've not been ill for quite a while. i eat proper foods
and have a balanced diet which i feel keeps my immune system
in good shape.

a couple of weeks ago i really thought i was gonna die or
something: vomitting for almost two days straight,
diarrhoea, chestpain...

I'm rarely really sick. I get a lot of headaches because of
muscle tension but that's it. Stomach doesn't really bother
me. I get a bit of flu maybe but that's it. I'm lucky.
