LAZY_TITLE

this page has clips which are apparently from a
work-in-progress documentary about circuit-bending. it has
interviews with various artists (including mark mothersbaugh
and mike patton).

the clips are mostly performances... not much in the way of
information - just some viewpoints and funny stuff. i would
like to see the finished movie...

That's a big file to download..

I haven't done much circuit-bending myself, but my brother
takes an avid interest in it. Children's toys are
particularly good specimens to test with.

from the looks of those videos, there are a lot of
weird/hippy people (maybe the only ones) into circuit
bending.

jeezous, i couldn't tell if they were religious freaks or
what!
lol, great link tho, and cheers for the vids!

it's safe to let kids play with it, so you'll be fine. just
make sure it's a battery-operated device and not plugged
into the wall.

I kept thinking, "man that thing is huge" and then it panned
up to reveal another layer of knobs that I hadn't even
noticed before.... righteous!

circuit-bending is when you take some electronics (usually
toys or casio synths) and muck around with them until they
make fucked up sounds. it can get very elaborate and you
can make entirely new instruments that produce new and
interesting sounds.

Am I the only one who's noticed that Cynthia of Cyndustries
is a transvestite?

i've got 2 sk-1s, 1 for modding and one to keep in mint
condition
I made an album a few years back which is pretty well solely
comprised of sk-1 circuit bending samples
circuit bending is cool
