Taken from the blog at PvP

Speakeasy is First Broadband Provider to Officially
Customize Mozilla Firefox

Posted on Tuesday, January 25, 2005

Speakeasy has been PvP's host for the last couple of
years and I can't talk them up enough. They're a great
company and the most reliable hosting provider the PvP comic
has ever had. Speakeasy understands the net, they understand
gamers and geeks and know what they want from a provider.

I'm also a huge supporter of Mozilla's Firefox browser and
its Thunderbird mail client. I've got links to download them
on the site because I want to help spread the word about
Firefox. It really is the superior browser compared to
Internet Explorer and the offical 1.0 release runs smoothly
on every system I own.

Today, Speakeasy announced that it is the first provider to
offer an official customized version of Firefox... Mozilla
Firefox: Speakeasy Edition. They've taken the firefox
browser and "customized it with helpful and entertaining
bookmarks courtesy of Speakeasy's Crew!" I'm proud to say
that a link to PvP (as well as Penny-Arcade and Homestar
Runner)is among those bookmarks.

It looks like Speakeasy will be sending out the Speakeasy
Edition of Firefox as part of their self-install broadband
service kits to its residential customers. That's just too
damn cool.

If you don't have firefox, or if you already have it
installed but want the Speakeasy modification, you can get
it here.

And if you are fed up with your current DSL provider or
webhosting serivce, I highly recommend Speakeasy. I ain't
just saying it. PvPonline.com is my entire life and I
wouldn't entrust it to just anybody.

It's never a good idea to let someone else fuck with your
product, no matter who they are

yeah, this is awesome.

I tried to get my company to do something similar to this a
few months ago, but they'd rather hand out lame ass pens
with our logo on them and call it a day.
