the psp is basically a portable ps2.

the ds is basically a portable nintendo 64.

i'd rather have the psp.

I'd rather play Klax on my Xbox (Midway arcade classics).

I do agree, portable consoles are not much use. I use mine
very infrequently nowadays.

if I was really going to buy one of those newfangled
handhelds though, I would get the PSP since the buttons on
the DS are shit.

Whichever one has the least number of steps for running EMUs
on it.

I would pick the DS cause I am a Nintendo fanboy.

Seems like the stylus gameplay would be pretty fun & unique
once you got use to it (unless it sucks shit). I only got to
play one for a few minutes..
