i'd really like to hear what's the general opinion..i've
heard both so far - that's it's great and that it's nothing
too special, so what do you think? yay or nay?
i know most of you already stated your opinion in that other
'review analord' thread but it looks to me that only the
peeps that liked it posted there.

i say

yay

meh - average in every sense of the word average (it might
have helped if track 1 wasn't just a remix of vorhosbn.

After hearing the real Analord, then immediately listening
to the 2 track fake Analord, the more it seems lioke those
tracks might really be part of the series somewhere
afterall. There are similarities.

anyway

3.2 - Cant wait to hear them all..

I am a huge aphex fan, so yay, but they sound like I
expected them to. I almost find myself liking the acidy
track from the 'fakes' the most. If there was a pulsewidth
or xtal type track on this release I'd be flipping out. I
miss those pretty tracks fom him. This stuff is great and
definetly analogue. I find that fun to hear, but the
melodies aren't there. I look forward to the remainder of
the release.

4/5. I think the production is fantastic and the whole sound
is interesting, I am definetly impressed and I didn't expect
this kind of thing. I am now looking forward to further
Analords.

well, its only 2 tracks. so it can't get anything higher
than that, especially with all the hype.

I am impressed by how I can't remember specifically any
section, I don't know how the drums or the melody goes but I
just remember it was good. That is what I like to hear from
Aphex, it's just well made musics.

slightly disappointed to be honest; i agree the melodies
werent all there for me. although the productions really
nice and the magic is still there. i dont think this will
rank high if there is ten in the series (which im even more
excited about).

i would say yay, but these TWO tracks will sound better when
they are part of a whole - so based on these two tracks this
analord series is going to be great
analord:
track one - not good - didnt like it, nothing special -
might grow on me
track two - very good and a different road for mr afx as far
as i am concerned - sounds like moody acid

it's a nice addition.

I agree, This is an exciting teaser. Also, I do find the
sounds and stuff wonderful minus the forgettable melodies.
No classic aphex melodies, yet.

I was quite disappointed at first. But they are growing on
me. I think I'm a bigger fan of Fenix Funk 5 than xmd5a.
I'd say they are good, but not great. 3.5/5
