I like a lot of underground(ish) manga and also older
stuff... not into the typical manga you usually see.

I have seen:

- Akira
- Ghost In The Shell
- Blood: The Last Vampire

So basically, i'm not in a position to judge, really.

I like alita. Not sure of its japanesse name... but I have
read almost all of the translations. Great story. Aparently
they are making an american version. It better be good,
cause the anime for battle angel was amazing.

Yeah... thats it... I haven't read it in a while, but I know
when I did, there were 7 graphic novels, and I read them all
over and over again. Great stuff.

my friends really into GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka). for some
reason i haven't gotten around checking it out. i've become
reluctant in reading any comic. the last one i thoroughly
enjoyed was The Preacher (a couple years back). after
reading that i've become extremely picky. perhaps i
subconsciously came to the conclusion that no comic could
supass it in plot and illustration.

errhh.. you REALLY like urotsukidoji?!

I thought that was crap! whenever there is tenacle hentai
and hundreds of monster-cocks that blow up hospitals
involved, I back out...

Yeah... that was a bit much wasn't it. And that point where
he came in the girls face as a joke was pretty stupid.

Stupid girl gets ripped to shreds by monster cocks....

Yeah uzumaki is great. :)

Mangas are not to be mistaken with animes.... a manga is
simply the comic.

My fave at the moment is probably "muno no hito" by
Yoshiharu Tsuge...

google tells me james is a big fan of ghost in the shell. ok
then.
I mostly dislike the major japanese exports in manga and
anime anyway.

thought angel of death was somehow related to megaman.
perhaps i'm totally way off but i thought so after watching
this one picture.
