fanatic or not ?

this is not competition.
how big is your audio collection ?, doesn't matter which
media...
When i compare my collection with my friends i'm fanatic.
how about you ? how many cds, mp3s, lps, do you own ?

My collection:

about 60 CDs, 30 LPs - essensial for me, proved by time
about 330 GB mp3s, 1/4 crap, i guess :)

but honestly, i would smash my whole collection for
she. cute newsreader, ach. :-)

i own less than 10 cds. about 80 vinyls (not all lp)

on my computer, less than 1GB music. not that much but i
haven't had this computer too long.

i'm not that fanatic, i just need to have a few certain
albums i can't live without (changes every now and then).
currently those albums are apropat by savath and savalas and
rest proof clockwork by plaid.

did you say 330 GB? that's quite a lot.

i own less than 10 cds, and around 20 GB mp3s on hard drive
and some CDrs, recorded for eternity.

cdrs don't last an eternity. cdrs might not even last 10
years.

- 450 cd albums
- 300ish cd singles
- 8 12" albums
- 50 or so vinyl singles (7 and 12")
- A couple of 10" EPs
- 300 or so tapes.

I THINK MAYBE.

probably just over 400 cds and about 100 pieces of vinyl.
most of which i've transferred to the computer / 40 gigs, 19
days. wows. one thing i've noticed is that since i've
stopped using soulseek i'm actually listening to music a lot
more. it's more fun reading about the music and the artist /
where they are coming from (or not coming from in some
cases) in regard to the music as opposed to just dling a few
tracks and making split decisions. but that's just me.

of what i have (CD in black - mp3 in not-so-black, a.k.a.

cares...

36 gigabytes of mp3's on my computer, and another 20-30 mp3
cd's.

What do you mean ''rescue'', it died and took all that music
with it? How much was backed up?

I've got about 320CDs, a dozen cassette tapes, 2 vinyl (!),
and about 280gb of mp3s (70 on my computer and a shit load
on CD-R). More than I need, man... a lot of it was just for
stupid completion sake, shit I'll never listen to.
