I laughed at this show. It was quite demented and
quirky and obviously makes fun of japanese-pop cartoons by
focusing on 'real world' things like trash TV, landlords,
ignorant leaders, name calling, etc... I liked it.

meh... there was one joke that made me chuckle... i get
it, but i just don't find it that funny. i bet if i was
more of a weathered stoner i'd enjoy it on another level,
though... :)

haha, maybe. It was a strange show. I was expecting to hate
it from the introduction, but as soon as it started I was
hooked. You keep expecting it to turn into some overly crap
japanese thing, but then they ream you with something
absurd.

kid: "Mommy when is that nice man comming back?"

dad: "What man? Are you seeing someone else? .... .... Why
aren't you saying anything!?"

i would probably enjoy it more if they left it in japanese
and provided no subtitles.

that has pros and cons though. Aside that reading is for
nerds, you'd miss a lot of the comedic timing because you
are reading it as opposed to just listening to their voices
(which helped a lot). I thought that the visuals were more
than enough to fake you into thinking it was total j-pop.

I'm glad we are discussing as no one else apparently saw it.
:)

This show was great after copious amounts of hashish. I
laughed very hard.
