I don't think I have posted a full track on here, it would
be cool to get a verdict. please be as brutal as you can
:)

Carbonated

I think it's good, but this track can definately last
longer!you should boost it up again after the stripping at
the end!

Cheers for your comments :)

I always seem to run out of ideas at this stage, most of my
tracks are under 3mins. Maybe i could go into a percussive
section.

Brevity is the soul of wit. When in doubt, shorten, do not
lengthen.

I like this. It's got a good vibe. What are you using for
the one touch chord sounding thing? Sounds like Akkord.

Oh yeah and I like the subliminally low mixed sounds, almost
not there - like movie special effects fog swirling around
the ankles of the other elements.

Thanks For Listening :)

The detroity chord sound is a tweaked patch from carbon in
reaktor. + Shit loads of delay as you can probably hear

it's not the sort of thing i usually listen to, but i think
it's really well-done. i agree the subliminal sounds are
great. this is solid, sir!

Good quality production in it. Nice old school flavour as
well.

RE: The far off quite bits; what fleetmouse said...

I agree that it was good to keep it short rather than have
it go on too long and get stale. A precussive breakdown
focusing on the clap, with some distortion, before briefly
going back to just the melodic parts (perhaps half-timed)
without drums to play out might work well.

though pretty much of all my tracks end like this on does,
the cleaniness this one asks for a better ending

whooo, orbital style. good to have it after hartnolls stand
collapsed. i liked the synths,. old skool ones, really clean
and nice, also melody sound sweet. light rhythm is just what
you need in this sort of tracks. good work.

Yo, Cheers for the feedback everybody. :) I didn't feel
too confident posting a track incase people thought it was
bad.

Im attempting to put together a short live set (around
20mins)for a gig i'm doing in january, I wanted to find a
balance so it is danceable for the ladies but also ok for
the chinstrokers.

As for the Orbital coment, I don't think Im worthy of the
comparison, the hartnolls are legendary. But feel dead
chuffed anyway! More stuff finished soon hopefully.

Looks like I might be doing a chillout room for a biiiig
houseparty on NYE. Mostly DJing, but some visuals and lights
too. I may well take along some music gear (unless I take
the PC for visuals) and play some ambient of my own. Same
conundrum: How to make it good for the 1337, but also not so
alienating that it scare aways the norms...

I really liked this one! Orbital style hit me for sure. I
thought this reminded me of something but i couldnt place
it! Good call hyak!!

Good work man!

If you are playing a chillout room, I would expect a lot of
the crowd to be looking for something less obvious. You
will probably be able to get away with pretty much anything,
I absolutely love parties like that.

i used to play/hangout regularly at a bar where the biggest
"anthem" was RJD2's Ghostwriter, can't go wrong with beats
like that. :D

very nice, maybe too spartan/generic. but listenable. i 'd
like to hear this slowed down a little with a super deep
bass pulse and a little more space, expand the melodic
motif...

PZ: I will keep working on the track, you are right, it
could do with a bit more bass, dub it out a bit maybe.

Pomme: Take this one, I made it yesterday.
