A hell of a lot. There's much to hate about it, but in
general, it really impresses me. I fear being torn away from
it if a safe or a piano were to fall on my head or
something. :_-(

crazy and dull at the same time...
beautiful in places, magnificent even... ugly in other
places...
absolutely atrocious for some people...
cruel... unfair...

there are good things in this world, definitely.
music among others.
but the worst things in this world are also badder than how
good the best things in this world are... and it's easier to
get/do/feel/think/etc. bad things than good ones. like there
were some sort of "gravity" for minds and things happening
too, not just for physics, which drags everything down.

i can't "rate" this world or life or whatever because i
don't know anything else.

but sometimes i feel you just HAVE to get "drunk" with
something (drugs, music, work, anything) to survive in this
world otherwise you'd just get insane. - (there is a
Baudelaire text about this, i think it's very true - or at
least true when you're not feeling all happy and going...)
...and thanks goodness we don't know everything in this
world nor can think of everything we know about it all the
time, because some stuff in it is really fucked up
beyond imagination (or almost - some people already have an
imagination fucked up beyond all limits of sanity - if
sanity ever exists).

"Be always drunken. Nothing else matters: that is the only
question. If you would not feel the horrible burden of Time
weighing on your shoulders and crushing you to the earth, be
drunken continually.

Drunken with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue,
as you will. But be drunken.

And if sometimes, on the stairs of a palace, or on the green
side of a ditch, or in the dreary solitude of your own room,
you should awaken and the drunkenness be half or wholly
slipped away from you, ask of the wind, or of the wave, or
of the star, or of the bird, or of the clock, or whatever
flies, or sighs, or rocks, or sings, or speaks, ask what
hour it is; and the wind, wave, star, bird, clock, will
answer you: 'It is the hour to be drunken! Be drunken, if
you would not be martyred slaves of Time; be drunken
continually! With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you
will.'"

but he said it in French, probably.

Yea, this world is nice.

As far as I can tell the alternatives are rocky tundra
fields(Star Trek)
or Pine/Fir tree forests (Star Gate)

We have this here, why go anywhere else
