Works fine for me, and most other people I know who have
installed it. I know with some people there are issues with
WI-FI, and a colleague of mine is removing it, cos he said
his internet access is slow since installing it

Everything goes slow on my laptop, I get messages about not
enough memory to do tiny operations, and I have to
physically turn off my computer with my on/off button. I
get...angry

my only problems were with nero, and wifi connectivity.
but, those were sorted easilly enough.

overall i think the changes that SP2 provided were welcome
and long overdue.

I agree, it slowed down my pc with about 10% and I still
don´t see any advantage of it

I tend to agree. If anything I think my PC is actually
faster.

yeah, i didn't notice any slowdown at all.

and, until i hear about major holes in the default ms
firewall, i'll just use my router & the built in windows
firewall.... which allowed me to turn off sygate firewall,
which freed up some resources.

yeah, it handles WiFi MUCH better than it did... once
linksys let me know that their driver wasn't SP2 ready, i
realized that xp would handle it natively, and everything
was groovy.
