me watch movies i am currently downloading.

i have one that came witha codec pack but isnt that going to
give me an error because the file is currently being
downloaded

Sometimes you can make a copy of the file your downloading
and then paste and watch. Doesn't work always tho.

Downloading from where?
Yes, they have something like that....
You can use WMP to view the file as it's downloading *if*
the application that's used to download the file hasn't
locked the file as it's downloading...
You'll have to find where the file you are downloading is
and open it.

Generally windows media player won't play something that's
half done, but the DivX player will. If the file is locked,
copy and paste it to a copy and try to play that.

Hmm that seems to make sense. I might give that a go.

The file in question is coming from a bit torrent source.

Get your Torrent client to download the beginning of the
file first.

or Vcr.

those little programs play EVERYTHING.

if they don't play it, it can't be done.
