Saw this tonight. Beautiful film to watch and enjoyable too. The ending dragged a smidgeon but on the whole it was good.
Anyone else seen it and care to comment?

Yep. Put a certain film that claimed to raise the bar in fight scenes to shame with no effort. It was so wickedly done :D

I was so excited about it yet i ended up dissapointed. The photography is overrated and the story could have been told better.... as for the editing some of it look quickly done and not very well cut...also i thought at points i was watching an old movie yet the movie is trying to be everything but that. 6/10 dan!
It's still ok, maybe i wasn't in a very good mood or something!

same here, also, as i downloaded it in some scenes it freezes for a few frames, especially towards the end so that kind of ruined it a bit for me. I'm looking forward to seeing it on the big screen, its released here in a couple of weeks.

i saw it. i liked it but i thought it was almost too visually stunning. like by the end, my glazballz was all over sturated and i couldn't really tell what was stunning anymore. and the story was a bit convoluted but i liked it yeah!

defintaley not!
the first 30/45 minutes of it rocked, but after that, the movie shat upon itself... it all went downhill when those flying daggers actually appeared, and mr. Yimou tried to twist it everywhere without the twists being necessary nor pretty impressing.
