YEAH MAN! nobsmuggler: Yeah, wrong answer there :P Ogg is a format like Mp3 but it's supposedly better quality in a smaller filesize. I can't tell the difference between the two but as all my stuff was in MP3 already I see no reason to change. BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! |

Re-encoding music which has already been run through one lossy algorithm is a bad idea. You get the worst of both worlds. Just leave them as ogg. |

bryce_berny is right. You shouldn't convert between lossy formats such as ogg, aac, mp3, wma, etc. Converting between lossless formats is ok (wav, flac, ape, ofr, etc.). |

well, i've done this to 2 albums and they didn't turn out that bad actually. did it for the same reason btw. it's a shame that ipod doesn't play ogg |
