Have you ever tried these Morr compilations?

BLUE SKIED AN' CLEAR - A MORR MUSIC COMPILATION

PUTTING THE MORR BACK IN MORRISSEY - A MORR MUSIC
COMPILATION

Mother of god, this is some good music! Two Schnauss killer
tracks on 'Blue Skied an' Clear', MORR030. And the other
one, 'Putting the Morr Back in Morrissey', MORR012.
Beautiful, downbeat melodic stuff to fall in love with.
Múm, arovane, Manual, Ulrich Schnauss and lots of new
unknown artists are on it!!

I love City centre offices, now i know why they are related
with these german little men!

well, i just found out about Morr. It's totally new for me.
i picked both compilations up for only 10 bucks each, and
known names like arovane, múm and ulrich schnauss tricked
me in.

what do you (everyone who has any) think is Morr's best
release?

my favourite Morr album is probably Wechsel Garland's... the
one that sounds the least like a morr album... it's an okay
label, there are some decent albums and artists involved...
but they have disappointed me way way way too many times...

Mmmmmmmm, Songs for the City Bus. I miss sitting near the
back of public transport with my discman, actually.

I have the Live Proem too, its allright, its really droning
repetitve music, although nicely layered. Its pretty simple
really. Quite ambient too. Background noise.

not sure if that was a non-sequitur, but i really like
slowdive, too. souvlaki is an awesome album.

as for morr -- i've been giving people heads-up about their
releases, everyone just ignores it.. to be honest i got kind
of sick of the morr sound myself, it's very sugary. but
still there are some very good artists on the morr
catalogue.

i'm seeing lali puna, go find, and some other morr acts
later this november.. i saw b.fleischmann and ms. jones soda
and notwist last year.......

morr music is a bit boring, isnt it?

i don't know, some maybe, but the two compilation cd's of
Morr do sound very varied and good...

I listened to Phonem the other day and i liked it a lot.

It's downtempo, ambient stuff, yes, to some people it may be
boring, the ones who like glitch (haha, like Morton)

i still feel venetian snares is often boring (too
repetitive), but 'obviously' i haven't listened to it very
thoroughly. The same thing counts for this i guess...

i have the blue skied and clear one, but i found it boring
at the firsts listening... maybe i should give ithem another
chance... but i think my opinion wont change... to slow for
my actual taste...

ye, but i think it is good music anyway!

oh, and i think vsnares is boring... at least the ones i
have: 'witboas' and '134123412'... ' chocolate wheelchair'
was nice before i got a chronical headache...
