Depression is usually the result of your surroundings not living up to your expectations, or low self esteem, or other outside influences. Nowadays drug companies push their pills really hard, and give doctors huge breaks and cash settlements to prescribe their fucking evil meds. And yeah, the meds work, but you dont fucking need them. Get some fucking exercise and find some balance in your life instead of staying inside in front of a computer/tv all day and go out. Punch a tree, hug a bear, shoot a gun, bake a cake. Go find some fucking meaning to your life and stop saying its 'illness' that can only be fixed with meds. Its a fucking crock of shit, just like ADD, fuck what doctors say, its common fucking sense. Its not heart surgery, its just taking notice the world around you. Yeah things are fucked up, and most people are prolly depressed to various degrees wether we know it or not. Deal with it, its not the end of your life, or the world. |

Chemical inbalances do happen, and I can allow that for some people who are "sooo depressed" but comon, weathered is right. We all get down sometimes, and if you can't dig yourself out of a rut to actually make sense with the world, then maybe your life isn't worth it here. Seriously people, go outside and start running. Exercise is quite the cure for depression I hear. Internet trolling, tv couch surfing, etc ... lounging around will not get you anywhere but into a deeper state of worthlessness.
