What the F**k was that. I watched the performance an hour ago and heard maybe 30 seconds of it. The damn commentators were blabbing away about weather they cut enough fabric or weather Osama was going to blow up the joint. I was yelling at the TV "let her sing and shut up... you will have all night to blab about worthless shit, this is her time now". Then Quick cut from Bjork to a guy running with a flag. There was no more mention of Bjork just “on with the show”. Talk about disrespect! If she was flashing her tits like Janet they would have let her sing and not talk over her. American Television is shit. Commentators should shut up unless there is some crucial information the viewer needs to hear. |

it was definately playback.. it was obvious by sight. the singing didn't match her lips and she screwed up a couple of times. but bah.. it's never posible to do a real live performance in ceremonies like that. hmm.. did you notice the part on my post where it says "and she screwed up a couple of times"and by screwing up i mean bjork hesitated on whether opening her mouth or not. and delay ain't the cause of this. and when I said "at events like those it's almost impossible to do live performance" i mean it.. do you think they would risk ruining the ceremony for something like lets say an audio failure with tiny wireless mics? (wich wasn't a mic BTW) or a volume failure or bjork screwing up, etc... this sort of things are very likely to happen. why is it so hard to believe? she playbacks in every video. and even if she did sing she sang over a backing track wich is like seeing bjork at a karaoke and that's really not so much different from playback. so fuck off |
