Looking at Cross-Eyed People in the Wrong Eye

i have a tendency of getting utterly lost in the
conversation i'm having with the person because i start to
think to myself if i'm looking at the right eye and i hope
it is because if its not that probably hurts their feeling
knowing i'm looking at their retarded eye. then i start to
think that if the bad eye works properly? and if it does
work, does that mean she can look into the sky and carry my
order at the same time. anyways this happened to me today
when i was going through the drive thru. this happened to me
again, not too long ago a couple weeks back actually i had
to go see an advisor and shes cross eyed and i start to
speak to hear about my academic situation and it didnt occur
to me i was lookin at her in the wrong eye until like half
an hour later- man that is so confusing, but fun at the same
time.

i can't honestly. i get so confused its so weird like i get
stuck like staring right between their eyes sorta. kinda
like i start to cross my own eyes trying to keep an eye to
eye discussion. i'm just thinking of sticking to one eye and
let them deal with how i perceive them.

i giess i know what you mean. there's this guy who gets this
bump on his forhead sometimes...as hard as i try not to look
at that bump, i always do.

I don't see why you have a problem talking to them though.

i've had a couple friends that were cock-eyed. after
knowing them for a while, i started to not even notice it.
but it was distracting for the first couple weeks.

i start to lose focus in what i have to say because i get
caught up in having to look them straight in the eye
(something which is usually impossible to do). my train of
thought gets lost in doin so because i'm trying to do two
things at the same time- which is find the proper eye and
stay focused getting my thoughts together because i might
start to look in their bad eye. kinda like staring at a
person with a huge bump or pimple on their face but you try
not to stare so you wouldn't hurt the persons feeling. i
feel like they might take notice that i'm staring at their
retarded eye and get their feelings hurt.

I stood infront of one of the managers here who has a funny
eye before for about 4mins cause I didn't think she was
looking at me, the she suddenly said "Did you want to speak
to me?"

I had a gf whose eye would wander when she got drunk. She
was beautiful, but it skeeved me out and I didnt want
googly-eyed children so I fucked her best friend thus
sabotageing the relationship.

Other than sullying my genitic progency, I really don't see
a problem with googly-eyed folks. You can only look into 1
eye of a person at a time anyway- googly or not- so pick
one and stick with it. Its when you go back and forth that
the nervousness feed-back loop starts.

i laughed-nervously, paid for my CD and ran...

last week in work, this really nice man came in, and he had
REALLY thick glasses, REALLY thick! they made
his eyes look really cross eyed as well, and it was so
distracting, he kept asking loads of questions too.
