to everyone: my strategy right now is, i am collecting all submissions, even the ones that don't fit the acapella format. however, acapella music is still preferred and will be used first in the compilation. so to ensure that your track is on the comp, it would be in your favor to submit an acapella track. |

we are trying to salvage this: started by teapot. the original idea was to have all the tracks "vocal only". electronically manipulated vocals, straight singing, sequenced singing, etc. in other words, acapella - all vocals, nothing else. but since there were so few entries, teapot opened it to all tracks regardless of content. it is my hope that we can have at least most of this vibes adhere to the original acapella format. therefore, the tracks most likely to be on this comp: 1. acapella - voice only. 2. music with singing/sampled voices. 3. other tracks. |

so i thought the rules were that it was based on an acapella track. not that it necessarily had to be made only from the acapella itself. I guess the rules were always a bit ambiguous anyway, so my track is a manipulated acapella track for which i wrote totally new music. it's at my zebox site and it's called: |

(i just noticed i've been spelling it incorrectly) i agree the rules were totally confusing. i thought the whole point was the challenge of manipulating the voice to make a new piece. if you want to submit a track with other instruments besides voice that's fine. |
