It's probably been posted before somewhere, but perhaps
some of you don't know about it.
The starting-point of the flick sounds fun enough.

kid, i had nightmares for a week because of Creepshow which
at the time i did not realize was a comedy!

Dennis Hopper, eh?

ha ha! and Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright (of "Spaced" and
"Shaun of the Dead" fame) have zombie cameo's!

I've read the script almost til the end i don't want to
totally spoil it for myself. it should play out pretty
interesting overall i have hope it'll do well. A lot of the
die hard fans are very pessimistic about this movie...but
i'm not, i don't really expect it to blow me away like dawn
and the gore in day did. hopefully it can top something
else. we'll see.

Sounds cool, can't wait for more details. Day of the Dead
was OK, it had some neat elements. But everybody in the
movie was such a dickhead.

He signed a contract to make a series of video games too,
didn't he?

do not say "dawn of the dead" was ridiculous.

it has been scientifically proven to be one of the best
horror-films ever.

i think night of the living dead is awesome - tops, if you
will.

OG dawn of the dead is good and fun, but not as good as the
first.

day of the dead is just awfuls. i had more fun watching
battlefield earth because at least that was something you
could laugh at. DotD was an ordeal to try to sit and
watch.

Night of the Dead is ace, as is the original Dawn. Day is
near abominable.
I don't know about you lot but I thought the remake of Dawn
of the dead was pretty damn good, though I do admit that I
had an ultra-low expectancy level on this one. But the
atmosphere was totally right, the sense of hopelessness was
there,Ving Rhames was there plus the effects were good, only
'but' being that I would have liked to see more excellent
humour such as the "shoot the zombie celebrity look-a-like"
scene, proper zombie humour, unlike the extremely
disappointing Shaun of the Dead.

science has failed us all

that bill ney the science guy character from day of the dead
was probably the most interesting character in the series.

Day is hands down or ripped off the best gore movie. i
still get chills and its from 85'....

yes Ophecks Romero did sign off on some games although i
read somewhere he really has nothing to do with any of it.
they just bought the rights to use his name. hopefully he
can have the final approval if the games get released or
not. In this interview if i can find it he sounded kind of
pissed about the situation since he signed off on this
awhile ago and now due to the popularity of recent zombie
movies the company became gun ho to produce the series of
games. dirty whores.

and one last word about day of the dead. Say what you will,
say what you might. Night Dawn & Day are better than any
zombie film that Paul W.S. Anderson has ever made.
Hopefully 'Land' will send that talentless little bitch back
to his former job at burger king flippin dolphin and
kangaroo meat.

peace.

Paul Anderson is the worst thing to happen to zombie films.

or film in general.

He's bad but in the wrong way. Ed Wood was bad but his films
were so bad they were funny. PWSA makes films so bad you
want to tear out your own stomach. A bit like that scene in
Event Horizon.

I loved the remake, totally different feel from the
original. The action was SO intense in parts. Kinetic. I
still like the original the best though.

And I actually kind of liked Event Horizon, heh. Of course I
was like 13, but I remember it having some redeeming
qualities. I remember the ship looked bizarrely neat, and
there were some tits somewhere in there.

by "later on, NO!" i meant like 'Shaun of the Dead' made my
favorite 10 movies list for 2004 so i was not dissapointed. To me it was like
a cheeky British romantic comedy but with, like, zombies, of
course!

Yeah I know, it's like me and my girlfriend are the only
ones who didn't like this film one bit, everyone else is
raving about it.
I was very disappointed because from the trailers, tagline
and poster it showed alot of potential but it just didn't
deliver. There were so many funny things that could have
been done with this starting point that it was like one huge
missed opportunity to me. It's not that I didn't "get it",
this type of humour, it simply doesn't appeal to me. Also,
the constant bickering between the main characters just
annoyed the living crap out of me when it was supposed to
humour me.
