Okay, it's kind of gay having to run more than one, I usually have AIM and MSN running. What's the best one that allows you to communicate with people on both? I have heard of Gaim and Trillian. Opinions please, thanks. |

people outside of the u.s. usually don't use AIM. ephos: is there a way to do yahoo messenger on this too? i see the icon in a screenshot, but it didn't ask me if I wanted to. |

Having more than zero running is kinda gay. I prefer keeping to touch with people by actually seeing them in physical presence. It that is not possible then I get retro and resort to carrier pigeon. (Pigeons look similar to the attached picture) |

the only thing really is being able to send people files. i see i can accept files, but how do you send? and you can't direct connect in AIM to insert pictures either I don't think. |

you just drag the file from your desktop (or whatever) onto their username... i think it also works dragging the file into the chat window. |

also, in the chat window there should be a button with a little triangle (if you're using the default theme), in there there should be an option titled 'file'... i think that should allow you to send files as well. |

something must be wrong, it should have sent you a message when I added you, and I tried adding myself: i got no message. so I think jabber is not working. I am also running the nightly alpha build, so that might be a problem of some sort. |

just installed miranda and now it's asking me to import contact files from the Miranda IM database... wtf is up with that? at least trillian would just download all my contacts from the MSN server without me having to enter them all manually |
