There is a salvia that can be used as a spice... I got it in a garden.... I want to plant the one you are talking about (since it is legal), but nobody has any seeds.... Where do I go about to find the seeds ? Ebay seeds are not good.... nothing grows out of them. |

the bong is the best way to go. you can make one out of a plastic bottle and aluminum foil. get creative, you'll figure it out. and not to criticize your choosing of chemicals, but doing dxm is probably a lot worse for you than smoking every now and then. |

I've done it 3 times and 2 of those times it did nothing. One of those times it made me feel sorta high, but I probably just wanted to think I was. Don't know if I have just been doing shit salvia or not, but my experiences have been underwhelming. I have smoked with other people each time and they were fucked. So maybe it just don't liek meh. |

As far as i know, there is no method other than smoking to ingest salvia. You'd have to just bite the bullet and take a bong or pipe hit, assuming you have a concentrated extract. If you simply have the dried leaves, then smoking them in a joint will give you a mild, "stoney" high, but nowhere the experience of an extract. Most of my non-smoking friends who have tried salvia couldn't hold the smoke for long as it has a nasty, caustic taste, and needs to be very hot, so salvia might not be the thing for you. |

The only thing i could think of is that you might not have been holding the smoke for long enough (needs 20/30 seconds at least.) Were you smoking an extract (5x, 10x, 15x etc) or just the leaves? Leaves are pretty mild from what i've heard. Mind you, according to salvia just doesn't seem to work for some people. Nobody knows why. |

Hmm, i've never seen a crumbly brown extract, but i'm not exactly an expert. The only salvia i've bought has been 10 and 15x extract, which both looked like small, dried bits of leaf, almost herby. Like you say, make sure you hold the smoke as long as you physically can though, that's probably the best advice i can give. |

You can chew the stuff... called the 'quid' method. Its supposed to produce a longer trip, but takes more leaves. I tried it once and it was rank, you have to keep the green sludge in your mouth for 30 mins or so. Had no effect on me, but i was using unenhanced leaf. |

It's totally different from anything i've had... - Simple tasks are close to impossible - You can have "real-looking" hallucinations (my girlfriend at the time thought mice were walking all over me) - You can sometimes "see" music... - Some people feel like they are being "pulled" by a gravity-style force - For me, the room often looks "cut up" into moving stripes and sections - Entering entirely different world is possible. I once thought i had been pulled into one of my own paintings, where i was floating in space. - The trip is very short, around 20 mins. The closest thing i could compare it to would be very strong but very short-acting LSD. |
