wow.... the beastie boys are getting pretty old, but they can still rock pretty hard. i only watched it because the yeah yeah yeahs were performing live (btw, Karen O. looked adorable and did a great job), because jake gyllenhaal was there, and because the theme was horror movies. it wasn't bad, actually. |

no.... i really did only watch the movie awards for those reasons. i freely admit my intense love to about 10 % of the shows on mtv... and would watch them religiously if i would ever remember to. good night. |

picture those radio stations that always play the same shit, now picture those songs music videos getting played all day. same ole shit. plus the music sucks btw, even on the half hour called "dedications" where the viewer calls in and asks for a song video to be played, and they have the chance to ask for ANYTHING, they pic a song thats played in the daily countdown.. i just dont know anymore, whats wrong with the majority..... |

mtv is great! you put on some hot music on your stereo, and then you put on mtv on your tv, turn the sound off on the tv, and you've got a hillarious music-video (my best result was when that Sugarbabes video merged with Nas - One mic!!!) |

I haven't watched TV since fucking long ago, and this is very good, I think saw. I have no TV box, and this is double very good . to the Karen O question: I know there was a Karen or Karin O(liver) in a group called His Name Is Alive, somewhere in the US of A, and some of their music was rather good.. I haven't listened to Beastie Boys since f**king long ago, even longer ago than since I haven't watched TV, and that's four times very good, I think. |
