anyone know of a good source for "Selected Ambient Works
II" on CD with 24 tracks? the one on WarpMart (recently
reissued, I think) appears to have 21 tracks...!

i was just letting you know, since you we're attempting to
be so specific about how many tracks were on the "cd"

I find it odd that you didn't get sent the one with
twentyfour tracks on. That is the standard issue we get in
the uk. Does warpmart have separate divisions for the uk and
the us or something?

The US edition is on Chrysalis, I think.

i've just checked warpmart, and he's right - they're only
selling a 21 track version

i don't know what's happened here. and because they don't
have the tracklisting there, you can't tell what tracks are
missing.

If you want it that badly you can have mine if you like.

i think i'll just order the one from WarpMart and assume the
webpage has a typo on it. it lists 21 tracks total...12
tracks on disc 1 and 9 tracks on disc 2.

very weird.

Why don't you send them an email to confirm? Their database
is obviously whacked. Why would they remove tracks from a
reissue...

They updated the site yesterday, maybe the track listing got
b0rked.

here's the thing...if you go to Bleep to download the
tracks, there's 24.

???

that's why i think it's a typo. (if they just meant to have
all the tracks available at Bleep, they'd have put 25 on,
right?)

yeah it's much more logical to ask us characters if the warp

but you could make some money by selling those SAWII cds!

since warp are selling a 21 track version, your 24 track
version will be in high demand! :)

you could charge a mint for them ;)

It's not about the money it is about the music. I don't
think that someone should miss out on something as good as
this album as the this cd is about as complete as you can
get withouit having to pay through the nose for the 12"
editions.

How many versions of SAW II are there? Mine has 23 tracks
(It is a US version).

music makes the people come together
music makes the bourgeoisie and the rebels

there's really only one version of SAW II...the original LPs
with 25 tracks. the question is, how close does your CD
come to that...

American Version omits Hankie and Stone in Focus (23
tracks)
Euro Version omits Stone in Focus (24 tracks)
Vinyl LP has all 25 Tracks. (25 tracks)

I own all of them.

i got a reply on this from warpmart...there's a mistake on
the website. there's 24 tracks, not 21.

i feel like i've done my part as a resposible afxhead.

you single handedly told warp that they'd made a mistake on
the website :)

now they'll probably have to kill someone because someone
didn't type it all out properly.
