tool - push it
Saw that gap again today
While you were begging me to stay
Take care not to make me enter
If I do, we both may disappear
If I do we both may disappear..

Saw that gap again today
While you were begging me to stay
Managed to push myself away
And you as well, My Dear
And you as well
Pushed you away, My Dear
Pushed you away
Pushed you away
Pushed you away, My Dear

I will choke until I swallow
Choke this infant here before me
What are you but my reflection?
Who am I to judge or strike you down?
Who am I to judge or strike you down?

But you pushit and I'm shoving you
and you're pushing me
and I'm shoving you

Rest your trigger on my finger
Bang my head upon the fault line
Better take care not to make me enter
If I do, we both may disappear
If I do, we both may disappear

But you pushit and I'm shoving you
and you're pushing me
and I'm shoving you

Still in love with me,
Your still in love with me,
Your Still in love with me,
Your still in love with me,
Your pushing and were shoving and
Your Pushing and I'm shoving and
Still in love with me,
Your still in love with me,
Your still in love with me,
Your still in love with me,
Your pushing and were shoving and
I'm pushing and Your shoving

I'm Slipping back into, the gap again
I feel alive when you touch me
I feel alive when you hold me down
Slipping back into
Slipping back into

I am somewhere I don't wanna be
Put me somewhere I don't wanna be
Push me somewhere I don't wanna be
Seeing someplace I don't wanna see
Never wanna see that place again

Saw that gap again today
While you were begging me to stay
Managed to push myself away
And you as well my dear

If, when I say I might fade like a sigh if I stay,
You minimize my movement anyway,
I must persuade you another way

Pushing, Shoving, Pushing, Shoving, Pushing me
There's no love in fear

Staring down the hole again
Hands are on my back again
Survival is my only friend
Terrified of what may come..yeah

Just rem

Oh baby, baby
How was I supposed to know
That something wasn't right here
Oh baby, baby
I shouldn't have let you go
And now you're out of sight, yeah
Show me how want it to be
Tell me baby 'cause I need to know now, oh because

Chorus:
My loneliness is killing me
I must confess I still believe
When I'm not with you I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

Oh baby, baby
The reason I breathe is you
Boy you got me blinded
Oh pretty baby
There's nothing that I wouldn't do
It's not the way I planned it
Show me how you want it to be
Tell me baby 'cause I need to know now, oh because

Chorus:
My loneliness is killing me
I must confess I still believe
When I'm not with you I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

Oh baby, baby how was I supposed to know
Oh pretty baby, I shouldn't have let you go
I must confess, that my loneliness is killing me now
Don't you know I still believe
That you will be here
And give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

Chorus:
My loneliness is killing me
I must confess I still believe
When I'm not with you I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

Pump up the jam, pump it up
While your feet are stomping
And the jam is pumpin'
Look ahead, the crowd is jumping

Pump it up a little more
Get the party going on the dance floor
Seekers, that's where the party's at
And you'll find out, if you do that

When Its Cold Id Like to Die

Where were you when I was lonesome
Locked away in this freezing cold
Someone flying, only stolen,
I cant tell, this nights so old,

I dont wanna swim the ocean,
I dont wanna fight the tide,
I dont wanna swim forever,
When its cold Id like to die.

What was that, my sweet sweet nothing
I cant hear you throught the fog
If I holler let me go
If I falter let me know

I dont wanna swim the ocean,
I dont wanna fight the tide,
I dont wanna swim forever,
When its cold Id like to die.

I dont wanna swim forever,
I dont wanna fight the tide,
I dont wanna swim the ocean,
When its cold Id like to die.

(Spoken:)
Girl, you know we belong together.
I don't have no time for you to be playin' with my heart
like this.
You'll be mine forever, babe; you just see.

(Sung:)
We belong together
And you know that I'm right
Why do you play with my heart?
Why do you play with my mind?
You said we'd be forever
Said it'd never die
How could you love me and leave me
And never say goodbye?

Well, I can't sleep at night without holding you tight
Girl, each time I try, I just break down and cry
Pain in my head, oh, I'd rather be dead
Spinnin' around and around

[Chorus:]
Although we've come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural
You belong to me
I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural
You belong to me
I belong to you

Girl, I know you really love me
You just don't realize
You've never been there before
It's only your first time
Maybe I'll forgive you
Maybe you'll try
We should be happy together
Forever, you and I

Could you love me again like you loved me before?
This time, I want you to love me much more
This time, instead, just come to my bed
And, baby, just don't let me down

[Repeat chorus]

(Spoken:)
Girl, I'm here for you.
All those times at night when you just hurt me
And just ran out with that other fellow--
Baby, I knew about it.
I just didn't care.
You just don't understand how much I love you, do you?
I'm here for you;
I'm not out to go out there and cheat all night just like
you did, baby.
But that's all right, huh, I love you anyway.
And I'm still gonna be here for you 'til my dyin' day, baby.

Right now, I'm just in so much pain, baby;
'Cause you just won't come back to me, will you?
Just come back to me.
Yes, baby; my heart is lonely.
My heart hurts, baby; yes, I feel pain, too.
Baby, please...

[Repeat chorus 4x]

Let freedom ring with a buckshot but not just yet
We need to truly understand the nature of the threat
And a pale man walks in the threshold of darkness
Roughly 20 000 years ago the first humans evolved with
The phenotypical trait genetic recessive blue eyes blonde
hair and
white skin
Albinism apparently was a sin to the original man Africans
So the mutants traveled north of the equator
Called Europeans later, the first race haters
So here's the devils' alpha to the beta
Cuz history's best qualified to teach one
Quoting German philosopher Schopenhauer
"Every white man is a faded or bleached one"
Migration created further mutation
Genetic drifts, evolution through recombination
Adaptation to the climate
As the Caucus Mountain man reverted to that of a primate
Savage Neanderthals until the late Paleolithic age
That's when the Black Grimaldi man came
With the symbol of the dragon
Fire and art
Check cave paintings in France and Spain to the Venus of
Willendorf
Around 2000 B.C. southern Russians migrate in small units
Those who traveled west populated Europe
Those who went east settled in Iran, known as Aryans
1500 B.C. some crossed the Khyber pass into India and
Created Hinduism, the first caste system
The origins of racism
A white dot on the forehead meant elite
A black dot-the feet
Untrustable, untouchables
They wrote the holy Vedas in Sanskrit
That's the language that created Greek, German, Latin and
English
Now the Minoans also around 2000 B.C.
Start on the island of Crete in the Agean Sea
The Greek culture begins Western Civilization
But "Western Civilization" means "White Domination"
Myceneans learned from Kemet, called Egypt in Greek
It had existed since at least 3000 B.C.
Creating geometry and astronomy
This knowledge influenced Plato, Socrates and Hippocrates
Cuz Imhotep the real real father of medicine
Was worshiped in Greece and Rome in the form of a Black
African
The word Africa comes from the Greek Aphrike meaning
"without cold"

Kool Keith - Sex Style

Chorus:
(Sex style!) Niggas want it free
They dogs drink my piss (Girls pay a fee)

You want freestlye that's right the style is free
Niggas suck my dick and they girls drink my pee
I'm on some S&M shit you can't get with
Pull your panties down on stage and watch you sweat quick
Suckers back to pull their style's transsexual
Lesbians dance with the funky heterosexual
You on the mic, and when you rhyme I start to jerk off
Let my dog lick you German Shepard want to bust off
I tell your legs and swat em, MC's having anal sex
Step around like a Tampax, and step up next
I enter New York, no problem with my dick out
California porno star, my ass you can lick out
Saying "What?" with sperm dripping down your partner's butt
I see MC's in my face with their ass up
Let me put my cape on, my rubber and my mask up
Not no horror-core shit, this is porno-core
I'm in the club naked man, I'm the fucking pro
Niggas can't wax no ass, girls should let them know

Chorus x3

Back I wreck shit, so what nigga? I masturbate
See your girls' cocked back, her legs tied like a figure
eight
I'm on stage getting sucked by Madonna
Sticking piped in your ass until you stop the freesyle
drama
I pioneered this shit, you keep sucking dick
Your girl's in the crowd, hawking me for a naked flick
I got my silk underwear for the atmosphere
Piss in your face and urinate all in your hair
You name a group that's shit, I will pooper-scoop
Fuck with this, miss, I will damage on the premesis
Niggas step back with Dax grease, watch their ass twist
I rhyme any nigga, golden showers up in Greek Alley
Movie star bitches, MC's lining up in Cali
Drinking vodka, Absolut, sipping Tanqueray
Mc's jump off, I stung your rectum like a stingray
Girls heinie-wipe, MC's say my style is hype
Pussies relax, I'd rather fuck them with a cordless mic
Could rob a horse, pull your panties off and pay the cost

Chorus x2

not quite as good out of context but in the song its awsome

Snow Patrol
"Fifteen Minutes Old"

I'm good for inspiration, aren't I?
You will find
Well, close the door and I'll go anywhere
You take me to from this bed onto so much more
Care for you, I will
Can I have a picture of you tonight
Keep it with me always in my mind
Touch me cause I can't move
I can barely breathe,
speechless, breathless
I can't tell you if I'm here or not
Running both legs tied together
Arms in the air
Care for you, I will
Can I have a picture of you tonight
Keep it with me always in my mind

The word philosophy means "love of knowledge"... stole from
first man
Greek power expands
The first Greek fraternities band
The word gymnasium is Greek for "naked"
This was the place where adolescent boys were educated and
molested
This was accepted cuz Greek culture was homosexual
for example, Sappho trained girls on the island of Lesbos
Hence, the word lesbian (let these muthafuckas know)
December 25, the birth of Saturn
A homosexual god, now check the historical pattern
December 25, now thought the birth of Christ
Was Saturnalia, when men got drunk, fucked each other then
they beat
their wife
Fact is, it was still practiced, until they called it
Christmas
So put a gerbil on your Christmas list

The Hellenistic Era, Alexander the Great
Conquers all the way to India leaving four successor states
By the Fifth century B.C.
R.O.M.E. succeeds to be
The conqueror of Egypt and Greece
But had the threat of the Black Phoenicians in Sicily
The Punic Wars began 264 B.C.
The Black general Hannibal and Carthaginian Peace
In 146 B.C. Carthage fell after a six-month siege
Rome sold every citizen into slavery, the first genocide in
history
And more bisexuality in sight
Julius Caesar was known as "every woman's husband and every
man's wife"
Spartacus Revolt-a slave rebellion that lost
Where 6,000 slaves got nailed on a cross...
Cross? Aw, shit! Jesus Christ!
Time for some-act-right
Christians get your facts right
Cuz Christ was not his name, that's Greek for "one who is
anointed"
Yoshua Ben Yosef was his name, do Christians know this?
So who do you praise, do you know his name?
Or do you do this in vain?
Accepting the religion they gave slaves to behave
Peep the description of historian Josephus
Short, dark, with an underdeveloped beard was Jesus
He had the Romans fearing revolution
The solution was to take him to court and falsely accuse
him
After being murdered by Pilate how can it be

Chorus x2

"May they beat his bowels with a ten-pound hammer til his
asshole
whistles the Star-Spangled Banner."

Now the nurse is here, Dr. Butcher to your anus
I don't care who your are, and if you think you're famous
You could be waxed, seventy-five fucking rap groups
Bisexuals on stage eating fruit loops
Sugar smacks, I got the rhythm for your ass cracks
Bring your girl, she fantasize in my sex world

Chorus x3

say it until its real
numbed to avoid the pain you feel
fingerprinted outer shell
you would not know the way
through my waterfall

drunk on anesthetic
enter the flesh, unsympathetic
selfless offerings denied
you see less than nothing, the blinkered blind
try to break you open
crawl inside, induce emotion
maybe your best isnt good enough
you'll smash after a life being frozen

you may look at me too
and wonder if you trust the proof
still never know I only show Me
to get what I require of you
i watch you through my waterfall

Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people

Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a
wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a
jar by the door
Who is it for?

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from ?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong ?

Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one
will hear
No one comes near.
Look at him working. Darning his socks in the night when
there's nobody there
What does he care ?

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from ?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong ?

Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with
her name
Nobody came
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks
from the grave
No one was saved

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from ?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong ?

She loves stew, yum yum yum
She loves stew, yum yum yum
She loves stew, yum yum yum yum

So you think she's losing weight,
Well, I saw her yesterday-ay.
She couldn't fit through your gate
She had to walk around the long way-ay

Because she loves stew
And you know it makes her fat.
She loves stew
And you know she'll squash you flat--Owwww!

She said that you would know
That she's lost fifty pounds,
And now you say you know
There's a hundred that she's found

She says she loves stew
But you know it makes her fat.
She loves stew
And you know she'll squash you flat--Owwwww!

She loves stew, yum yum yum
She loves stew, yum yum yum
With a gut like that
You know she'll squash you flat.

And now it's up to you
Her problem you must share.
It won't hurt you to
Be the same size as her

Because she loves stew etc

She loves stew yum yum yum
She loves stew yum yum yum
With a gut like that
You know she'll squash you flat

Yum yum yum
Yum yum yum
Yum yum yum yuuuuuuummmm

I saw something I was not supposed to see
A ghostly memory that keeps on haunting me

(The kitchen door was open a crack,
So naively we peeked inside)

Oh, darling sister, have they hurt you, have they hurt you?

Oh, Pretty Baby, they won't touch you
They won't touch you again
We will fix this incident

I don't want to be seen as a pretty thing
'Cause it's the pretty things that we're always breaking...

(And now she whispers into the mirror:) I'm broken.

Oh doctor, doctor, can you fix me, can you fix me?

Oh Pretty Baby, you're so naive -- but it comes off so cute

We don't want to fix you
We love you just the way you are
The butterfly pinned to the page
The nightingale locked in the cage -- won't you sing for me?

Sing for me, uh-huh
Yeah, we love you just the way you are
Crushed 'neath fashion magazines
Trampled by circus pony dreams -- won't you kiss me?
Won't you kiss me, uh-huh

Oh please, mister, can't you fix me, can't you fix me?
(uh-huh)
Someone, anyone, won't you fix me, won't you fix me?
(uh-huh)
Oh, someone, please, the moon has raped me
I can feel it inside me
Oh, mama, please let someone fix me!
Let them fix me, uh-huh
Let them fix me, uh-huh

So cry yourself to sleep
Cry yourself to sleep 'cause I am strong and you are weak
Wait, you are strong, and I am weak
Fuck -- just cry yourself to sleep

Braid
"A Dozen Roses"

a dozen roses in the car
and i don't know where you are
maybe i don't know what i'm doing
you're moving like a movie
you still move me
among the other ones
and twos and threes and twenty-threes
got to keep my conscience clean
but that hurricane what's-her-name
mentality was not for me
and never could be
cause it surely brings bitter things
and misery

and i say
heaven hits me hard
in with the new
heaven hits me hardly

in with the news
whatever gets me started
in with the noose
have you ever had a heaven here
and was it clear?

cause i just wrote a letter
a confession down the ladder
that things could be so much better
and through follow the leader
i met her and then another end
and usually a grudge
but i loved so much
the way we touched and psuedo-kissed
oh i already miss you singing like this
over the phone
every now and every then i tend to pretend
i'm not alone

static made old radio
now i know
static made old radio

heaven hits me hard
in with the new
heaven hits me hardly
in with the news
whatever gets me started
in with the noose
have you ever had a heaven here
and was it clearly better?

I will leave behind all of my clothes,
I wore when i was with you,
all I need's my railroad boots,
and my leather jacket,
as i say goodbye to ruby's arms,
although my heart is breaking,
i will steal away out through your
blinds, for soon you will be waking.

The morning light has washed your face,
and everything is turning blue now,
hold on to your pillow case
there's nothing i can do now,
as i say goodbye to ruby's arms,
you'll find another soldier,
and i swear to god by christmas,
there'll be someone else to hold you.

The only thing i'm taking is
the scarf off of your clothesline,
i'll hurry past your chest of drawers,
and your broken window chimes,
as i say goodbye
i'll say goodbye,
say goodbye to ruby's arms.

i'll feel my way down the darken hall,
and out into the morning,
the hobos at the freightyards,
have kept their fires burning,
so jesus christ this goddamn rain,
will someone put me on a train,
i'll never kiss your lips again,
or break your heart,
as i say goodbye
i'll say goodbye,
say goodbye to ruby's arms.

tom waits

My name's Posh, I'm a celebrity
And I'm writing my auto-biography.
There are so many words
And it's too hard
So I need a hand
And I know I'll have to pay a ghost-writer.
Pay a ghost-writer!

I'm married to a bloke called Becks,
He kicks footballs and wears dodgy kecks.
He's so thick
He just looks at pics
So he's no help
And I think I'll have to pay a ghost-writer.
Pay a ghost-writer!

Pay a ghost-writer--(writer--writer.)

My voice is nothing to write home about,
My only talent is a sulky pout.
I gad about
In a jet named Lear
But I'm an icon
So I know I'll have to pay a ghost-writer
Pay a ghost-writer.....

I wake alone
in a woman's room I hardly know
I wake alone
and pretend that I am finally home

Her room is littered with her books
and notebooks
I imagine what they say
like, "Shoe fly, don't bother me"

and I can hardly get myself out of her bed
for fear of never lying in this bed again
Oh christ -- I'm not that desperate --
oh no, oh god, i am

How'd I end up here to begin with?
I don't know
Why do I start what I can't finish?
Oh, please don't barage me with the questions
to all those lovely answers
My ego's like my stomach
it keeps shitting what I feed it

but maybe I don't want to finish anything anymore
maybe I can wait in bed till she comes home
and whispers, "You're in my web now
I've come to wrap you up tight till it's time to bite down"

I wake alone
in a woman's room I hardly know
I wake alone
and pretend that I am finally home
home

are we talking sad in the melanchloy sense or pathetic
sense?

if it's the melancholy sense then recently I've been loving
some of the Grandaddy stuff, beautiful.

if it's the pathetic sense then any artist or band that's
ever rhymed the words "sky" with "high" and there's quite a
few of em, Oasis,Lenny Kravitz,The Wonderstuff, just a few
off of the top of my head and all crap, I'm sure you can
think of some more.

Alseep - by The Smiths

Sing me to sleep
Sing me to sleep
I’m tired and i
I want to go to bed

Sing me to sleep
Sing me to sleep
And then leave me alone
Don’t try to wake me in the morning
’cause I will be gone
Don’t feel bad for me
I want you to know
Deep in the cell of my heart
I will feel so glad to go

Sing me to sleep
Sing me to sleep
I don’t want to wake up
On my own anymore

Sing to me
Sing to me
I don’t want to wake up
On my own anymore

Don’t feel bad for me
I want you to know
Deep in the cell of my heart
I really want to go

There is another world
There is a better world
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well, there must be
Well ...

Underneath the weeping willow

I want to sleep
Underneath the weeping willow
As it crys all night quietly
Its tears all around me
I'll sleep there so soundly
Until I'm allowed finally
To wake and be happy again

Don't diss the Wonderstuff! These lyrics, though no one will
read them, are from the most melancholic band of all time
American Music Club. This song is called
"Ex-Girlfriend" from, I believe, the Everclear LP.

Your ex-girlfriend told me you were having a bad time
Day-to-day life shouldn't be what it's all about
Day-to-day life is something we all know too much about
I guess you got no one to take care of you

Your ex-girlfriend told me you spent all yesterday crying
Hey i didn't know things were going so bad for you
Maybe you're just trying to get her to come back to you
Or work your way out of the cynical attitudes
That protect you

Bad habits make our decisions for us
You should try remember
All you're holding is a handful of dust

It's not even closing time
And already stars are falling out of the sky
You're all lit up, you gotta do something
I'll help you try

Your ex-girlfriend told me you spent all yesterday crying
Now do you believe the stories
When you're life's not buying
I guess you got no one to take care of you

Mine was from a song by some guy I met somewhere, I'd do a
followup for my canterbury buddy but they never seem to
work.

mad world - tears for fears
(covered by Michael Andrews/Gary Jules for Donnie Darko
OST)

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
And their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
'Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
'Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
