Tolstoyed, it's good for windsurfing and reasonable for long
distance canoeing, but I'd not body board/surf there.

Keys: Maybe a BBQ.

He's from Canada. He's working in Amsterdam at the moment
and thought he'd come over for the weekend. Saw him a couple
of months back in London, too.

Most of our beaches are more "normal"- we just like the
pebble beach because you don't get sand everywhere (and when
it's warm and at high tide, it's the best for free diving)

Newfoundlanders are a curious bunch. I like them. I don't
even want to know what you're going to do with a studly
Newfie on a beach in the evening, though.

I'm not wearing my dry suit anymore, it nearly crippled me
last time I put it on. I had back pain for a week.

Tolstoyed: I was over Jonesy's house :)

I'm back safe and sound, but I smell of smoke now.

Dry suit = Like a Wet suit, but it's almost completely
waterproof. Very good for diving/surfing in mid-winter in
the UK.

I only ever really used it windsurfing (wind chill can make
you cold, even in a wetsuit) in mid-winter.

I don't dive (as in SCUBA, although I've been meaning to do
my PADI for a couple of years now), but I can snorkel and
free dive pretty well.
