well... it's a pretty normal track. It seems like the inspiration behind its creation was more imitative than original. Like aphex created music from his imagination for himself. But music is memetic, meaning that, since it plays aloud, it replicates its information into people's minds. And since people will be thinking about it when they hear it, there's a chance that some of those people will want to make music for themselves. They'll tend to make things similar to what they've heard perhaps. This track has touches of squarepusher + other electronic artists. The changes don't flow perfectly from one another, like the changes aren't very meaningful or logical, or even very emotional in some way, they're just changes. The changed parts in come2 daddy for example flow perfectly imo.

For me it was entertaining for one listen. But in summary the track was too standard for me to want to hear again.

i get your point even if im tired as hell having problems reading =)
maybe ill cut this track out of my "album" collection.. im not sure becouse i like the melody.. but when you say this i think i can honestly say that the drums sound way to flat even thou they are quite variated.
maybe ill take the melody and use it for an completely different track.. even thou that feels wrong and boring aswell.
thanks for listening

Sounds like a great track to me, plenty of variation and it has a good beat to it. Of course it is hard to say whether you should add it to your album since I have no idea what the album theme is or what the other tracks sound like. But then again, based on what you have previously released on the net I wouldn't worry too much if I were you :) Let us know when its finished,!

Interesting with the drum fades... Very in out, I like the ambience, very well put together. I like the chord progressions.
Cool vocal cutups, like them in the background, good progressions overall
Don't know how I feel about the drums, every once in a while I hear something that's really neat. Some of the Squarepusher tricks you got down well, some cool pitch trills and what not. They do sound flat in parts, but if you throw on some compression on just certain sections you could easily bring out what you want.
Listening to it again... yes... needs a lot of compression to bring the drums to the levels you want, need to nitpick those snare sounds and change accents and stuff to pick the beat up and down and wherever. Can do that in mastering, don't worry about it too much now. I'd keep the track in the album
Talented stuff man, very nice... love the drop at the end into the reverby keyboard noise, very appropriate, changes the mood quite nicely

my first thought was happy-hardcore, but it did improve. I really do understand and agree with what w M w said.
I'm sure if you hadn't heard of squarepusher of aphex twin this track would not exist.
"Good middle of an album track" hehe, this made me chuckle. In my head that translates as "FILLER". no offence intended!
Not the most original track - i think you know that - but well executed!
Put this on your album if you want to, but dont try to cram as much on their as possible - few great tracks, are better than lots of average ones :)
