so lately my label of choice has been ninja tune, and i
haven't bought a new record on a month or so, so i decided
i'd make a huge order from their site. so far i've chosen:

amon tobin - supermodified
amon tobin - permutation
blockhead - music by cavelight
jaga jazzist - a living room hush
kid koala - some of my best friends are djs
kid koala - carpel tunnel syndrome
wagon christ - musipal
pest - necessary measures
various - zen rmx: a retrospective of ninja tune remixes

all of those are on vinyl. can anyone tell me what other
stuff i should check before i order, based on those ones? :)

musipal is a good choice.

Go for more beats and pieces for coldcut. Great stuff.

spoonz... you do know that Manitoba and Jaga Jazzist are
coming to Jazzfest right?

PS a lot of the releases you are planning on ordering a
probably available in town on vinyl... at either BLackbyrd
or listen... i know that Blackbyrd always seems to have old
copies of Amon TObin, and i've seen Jaga Jazzist and the
Blockhead both at listen recently... you could probably
order through Listen and save yourself some shipping and
handling costs (maybe, i'm not certain on this one...)

i had no idea either of them are coming! WHERE?! WHEN?!
haha

i know i can get the amon tobin and kid koala from
blackbyrd, and listen is way too far out of the way, i don't
even remember wher it is, and being 15 with limited
transportation blows. anyways my brother is planning on
making a similarily large order from ninjatune as well, so
shipping will be worth it, and i like the freebies :) it's
more expensive at blackbyrd than from the site, too.

cool, dude... just figured i'd let you know...

Manitoba and Jaga Jazzist will be playing at the Starlite
lounge...

...oh fuck no minors... goddamnit, i'm sorry dude... i
shouldn't have told you ... but you have until the 29th of
june to try to find some way to get in anyways... inundate
manitoba with e-mails or something...

yeah... it's actually probably not that hard to get a fake
id... how old are you now? 16?

I sometimes get the feeling people look down on Ninja Tune
because they promote artists someone might actually want to
listen to instead of pitch shifted screeching noise that
only dogs can hear in a 34/57 time signature

well i mean, i'm not that huge of a fan of ninja tunes
anymore, because i do feel that a lot of their releases are
kind of "samey", but i have infinite respect for their
ability to put out music that even teeny-boppers would shake
their booty to if given the opportunity, and they have quite
a few legitimately cool, fun and original artists...

Oh don't listen to me - I had some vodka and I'm in the mood
for IDM heresy. :D

Yeah baby! Right out of the freezer it has this sweet
vanilla jelly quality, like an ice angel just came in your
mouth. I mean, a female angel with that female ejaculation
dealie. Mmmm hmmm.
