ascii art can be fun, but when used out of context it can make threads look ugly and annoying to browse, so I reckon we should get some release in this thread, I miss some of the old afx.nu topics like Matvey described "I remember BIG stroboscopic posts, consisting of slashes, dashes, zeroes, circles, and dots: when you scroll them, lines seemed to move in opposite directions or with different speed. isnt the star wars in ascii movie the stupidist thing ever mostly because they have straight vertical lines, which i understood wasnt possible, there's nothing creative about it anyway and how about the matrix scene?: looks cool, but obviously made with a program, which still makes it good? |

ive never made any ascii drawing but i read some tutorial once that said that: only vertical lines were possible and it'd be impossible to get two | right under each other. the tutorial was on about hardcore ascii drawing too which meant you could only use the standard 200 something ascii's or so |
