I was looking at cdon.com, just browsing. I found aphex'
albums, and I thought I'd check the price (as opposed to
what I bought them for)... While doing that, I noticed that
the people who bought the aphex albums also had bought the
most uncompatible music with it...

check it!

Ha! I love the Cardigans, and Simon and Garfunkel, but that
website obviously wasn't channeling MY brainwaves because I
hate No Doubt and they hate me.

There seems to be some ''usual suspects'' on those
recommendation engines. I remember I used to see David Gray
everywhere. And now Linkin Park creeps their way into most
lists these days, it's shameful.

Well, in the case of Linkin Park and David Gray, they are
just excellent musicians making fantastic music that anyone
is sure to love. So they put them in any recommendation
list, knowing that whoever picks it up will find that it is
the best music they have ever heard.

it was a symbol indicating that he, as we all often do, were
jesting and making funny noises while writing the words he
wrote while scratching his crotch.

aaand.. all of linkin parks songs go like this:

1: start with a distorted piano-loop
2: after this has gone for two beats, hit your guitar as
hard as possible
3: squeeze that sick-looking (sick as in "I have pneumonia,
cancer and aids") dude with a wrench until he screams
4: make that annyoing kid "rap" while the other guy pretends
he is good at scratching...
