haven't heard the live version

i just love Ava Adore for the programing, i think it's the
bomb

i also like that breakbeat of the highhats that comes in,
you know, the one that's really gritty

it's hard to choose.
i only listened to much of their material as a youngun.. now
i've lost my copies of the albums.. or something.. so
i can't form a solid answer.
especially from the older albums, i love their usual guitar
sound, though.. customized "big-muff" transmitting a big
fuzzy, slightly unfocussed barrage-like mass of sound.

my fave album by them is adore, i just flicked through it
again to try and pick a fave track.....but i can't, i just
love them all. that album can always give me moist eyes.
1979 from mellon collie deserves a mentio aswell tho, as
does thru the eyes of ruby simply for the little guitar
melody right at the end, gets me everytime. <3

I forgot about that!

Mellon Collie and Siamese Dream are unquestionably among my
'desert island' picks, so to speak.

oh wow. That little guitar piece at the end is surely
gorgeous, but it's the piano and the crashing waves at the
end of Farewell and Goodnight that absolutely gets me every
time.

Eye

Set the Ray to Jerry
Cherry
Ugly

(oddly enough - The 1979 had 3 of my favorite songs of
theirs, and I've heard just about everything they've done
(ex girlfriend was a fiend for them))

That EP is an excellent buy.

were released from that album]

Anything on Gish is better than the subsequent pretentious
drivel they put out.

Gish absolutely rocked and will forever be the anthem for my
college years.

If only Billy would of blown his brains out rather than
Kurt...
