I purrchased it about a week ago and forr the love of God I
can't make it past song two without getting so borred that I
have to watch some paint drry just to get the blood pumping
thrrough my veins again.
I'm not being unfairr; I've trried and trried again but it's
no good.
Maybe I'm simply not in the mood.

i dont understand how so many people think track 3 is the
best, the drums on it are fucking awful out of time nonsense

Yeah - Squarepusher may be out of ideas. Went to see him
play last night - left before the show was over. Perhaps
he'll do something interesting next album.

This is because you have mistakenly bought an album entitled
"Ultavisitor" when I imagine that you really wanted to buy
"Ultravisitor"

how can you not like tracks 1,3,5,8,12,13?

THats more good songs then some of his other releases,
namely big loada and selection sixteen. Those releases have
wonderful tracks of course, but not 6 like ultravisitor.

the end of 50 cycles is amazing.
steinbolt owns..
tetra-sync has some nice stuff in there
in all tracks i hear something interesting, maybe a sound, a
collection/combination of sounds, who knows.

tracks like iambic, tommib and andrei never strikes me as
pretty or sad or whatever, although you can hear that's what
he's going for. it just sounds a bit too cheesy for me.
the classical guitar imitation that's going throughout never
sits with me either as my dad plays it constantly and i
don't like it much in general :P

so all in all, not many memorable songs for me, i'd give it
5/10.

I have had it on since i got it. I am not the biggest
Squarepusher fan, like Mike P I fear he lacks Quality
Control and sticks in far too high a wank to
good ratio, but Ultravisitor finally sounds like a
step forward from the classic "Feed me weird things". I
think it's one of the most successful marryings of live (or
at least sounding like live) instrumentation and
electronics, i think tracks like iambic 9, tommib and andrei
sound like my all time fave "avant garde jazz classical"
band The Durrutti Column and the rest are tunes
worthy of the 21st century. I think if he didn't release so
much rubbish it'd be easier to hear the genius, as it is you
have to pick and choose the odd track here and there from
his output. But Ultravisitor i think is a GOOD ALBUM in its
entirety. I am sorry if that upsets anyone.

If you don't appreciate and adore the fact this fantastic
album exists in such a world of shit then you have no soul.

A bunch of retards will think that making some quip about
soul music would be extremely hilarious and original right
now. It won't, it's just as foolish and futile as pointing
out spelling mistakes, if that's all you got over people
then you are worthless. Shit like that is very common and
albums like Ultravisitor aren't.

Iambic 9 Poetry's drums are out of sync? Nah, I'm almost
black. I'd notice. I think the stop and start perhaps. Maybe
some pauses, but not out -of sync.

I enjoy his work with delays, I like menelec's intro. Kinda
wicked. Go Plastic definetly has the most wow factor with
sound exploration. Especially his feedback loop stuff. Love
it. I hated his older stuff, actually. Why is it that people
start saying washed up, out of ideas, etc.. when they don't
like an album? You only wished you had the modicum of
talent. This isn't 4/4 rock and roll. They can keep making
stunning music after 27. I believe it.

many of the songs feel like a different story unfolding...

track 5, the name escapes me right now, takes you to
technofuck land, then Steinbolt takes you to squaretallican
hell.

i dont know, i just think the album is very entertaining as
well as exciting, so i like it.
