Isn't emo the most unfortunately named genre ever? I always
think of Elmo from sesame street and Emo Philips. Right turn
off it is. The music doesn't help much either.

Emo is goths who listen to black flag instead of the cure.

emo is really a mislabeled genre. it stands for
'emotional' rock. but most emo i've heard is not emotional,
whatsoever. the music i make is quite emotional, sort of
like deftones and apc together with a little nin in there
and some electronica.

i would never call it emo, tho.

and xxxltronic sounds like a good idea. but it could never
be supported.

emo is stupid, because all music is emotional if the artist
means it to be... just because someone thinks it doesn't
sound emotional doesn't it mean it isn't...
