loved super metroid, owned nes and gameboy versions years
ago. never played fusion or prime. and im playing zero
mission right now, which is just a re-do of the originial
metroid with more areas and storyline.
right now im at mother brain. ill tell you now, this boss is
fucked. your confined to the tiniest space, with two small
blocks to stand on and motherbrain shooting you with her eye
ray thing. sounds easy so far? well yes, but then you also
have two lazer beams on the wall that track you, and three
red orbs, being hit by these knocks you into the lava,
trying to get back onto one of the blocks results in getting
dinged by either a lazer or orb, and then your back in the
lava...
this may continue for a while, and even if you do catch your
footing. THOSE MOTHER FUCKING FUCKERS WILL KNOCK YOU THE
FUCK DOWN AGAIN INTO THE FUCKING LAVA!!!!!!!!

Kraid was no easy boss either, its just such small spaces,
with super metroid, it gave you just enough space to dodge
and shoot, but not zero mission.

There are three... they go by different names in different
countries, but the one called "Aria of Sorrow" (3rd, most
recent one) is far and away the best. IMO best castlevania
game ever and contender for best platformer ever- even above
Mario.

Re: Metroid fighting motherbrain- there's a spoof/mini game
of the nes orginal in "Wario Ware"
