In my opinion, you are a tossface.

Well anyway I've heard it through about 3 times and it is
just boring. Its mainly acoustic tracks and really there is
nothing in it of great substance to latch on to, just a
bunch of fairly open ended pieces. For me definitely the
worst Squarepusher album I've ever heard.

dariusgriffin,

Yeah like your opinion counts for something. Lol.

Anyway get if off your chest because I don't have time for a
bitching match.

earthleakage,

No thats fact. Some day you might work out the difference.

Anyway spit away, do your best.

thats a co-incidence, its the same for me when i'm dancing.
my left leg likes to dance but my right leg doesn't. so when
i'm boogieing on down groove factor 5 eyeing up the chicks i
tend to dance in circles a lot and hence look like a
complete promo.

tolstoyed,

Don't know I'm gonna have to hear it again. People were
saying it was going to be more in the vein of 'Hard Normal
Daddy' and that sounded exciting but I don't know it just
sounds quite dry and lifeless. I will listen to it more
though.

offline thethirdball from Polly Pisspot (Canada) on 2004-02-11 09:43 [#01068274]

I think Steinbolt is good - but there's just so much filler
on this fucking thing - I don't want to listen to that bass
wankery.

yeah, i think of it as a fusion of hard normal daddy,
biglouda and go plastic.

steinbolt is very harsh and intense, other brilliant one is
tetra-sync...

I like it when he makes his bass talk. Can anyone recommend
me other albums, tracks that have this kind of wicked bass
manipulation?

*opens himself up for a slating...

Global Goon's new album has great use of a bass (in a manner
not unlike Mr. Jenkinson) throughout.

I listened to it once and I doubt I will again. Tom's run
out of ideas, which is a shame, he seems like a nice bloke.

I gave it a few listens, haven't been listening to it a ton.
It will take some time to grow on me, but i respect the
album so much, that he's trying to step up from behind the
curtain and take to the stance that this is something that
can work live, it's the work of a human and not a spazzed
out sequencer. respect!

nicely balances the album. It is a nice ride to listen
through

I said in one of the very first "I LOVE ULTRAVISITOR" posts,
i though it was garbage. cheers to all you that like it, but
i think its VERY bland. i think maybe he's trying to hard to
be different after WAP155 got such accolades. but he went in
the wrong direction if you ask me.
I still think Buzz Caner, Hard normal Daddy, and Feed Me
Weird Things were his best.

some of the songs are GREAT - some of the experiments are
really tiresome...not bad just not of interest to me

the whole pseudo-live-performance thing is REALLY lame
