which are the best online cd shops?

besides amazon, warpmart and mns

I am crazy searching to buy "songs about my cats" and "phone
number" by vsnares, but I find nothing

I want first hand cds, new, not used.

thats why I didnt look at ebay or discogs.com

Songs About My Cats is available on amazon.fr... but it's more
expensive than usual, i don't know why (and with the
shipping, it must cost like ¤30... yeah, expensive for a
single CD!!) ' _ '

offline uzim on 2004-01-19 15:19 [#01040876]

usually amazon have a "normal" price, it depends really
(Sleeping Madness by Ken Ishii was available at amazon.de
for only ¤7...)

Spikee Dragon > did you get it (Cycle)? how is it?

splash.com has some good prices & a fairly decent choice.
free delivery too.. they just take ages to deliver
anything.

play.com has an ok choice, prices are alright, free
delivery. quite quick too.

cd-wow.com free delivery, usually good prices, quick to
arrive.. choice isnt great though. you wont find ANYTHING
thats not contemporary & widely popular on there.
its good for dvds though. so is play.com actually..

revpersona > ah, yes =)

forced exposure has Songs About My Cats for $17 and barnes &
noble has 2370894 for $13.98, seems more reasonable. (the
shipping rates + delays from usa it might be long and
expensive... but well, seems like the best so far)

All Direct

Pretty good prices.

Example
Recordings of Music for Film - Vincent Gallo

Amazon.com = $18.98
All Direct = $12.79

You can also get free shipping if you order $100 of stuff

I got the Merzbow/Kouhei Matsunaga CD from Warp, i'll get
cycle later.

The Merz/Kohei CD is great, kinda proves that these guys
sculpt the noise rather then pump out random shit, very deep
+ i was tripping my box off to it. :> u need to check this
one out uz.
