"I heard that DOOM III uses the Duke Nukem Forever engine"

DOOM 3 uses the DOOM 3 engine, created by John Carmack
(quake 1-3). Duke Nukem Forever has been promised since like
1999 but we have yet to see a single screen shot...

personally I think Half Life 2 will be tops.

there's been loads of screenshots of it through the years.
The fact it's using the Unreal engine means that by looking
at that engine you can get an idea of what it'll look like.

I've seen screen shots of Duke Nukem' Forever, but they were
from back when it was using the Unreal Tournament engine.

if duke nukem forever ever comes out it will be... well, a
fuckin miracle for lack of a better word. I mean, it will
more than likely eventually be out, but how the hell
long are they going to take?

I don't know, I suppose by the time it actually comes out,
it will be running off the Quake 7 engine.

"there's been loads of screenshots of it through the years.

"

completely uneducated rubbish comment.

maybe for some games, but it is NOT a comment you can just
throw out there; anyone who studies designs will point this
out, sorry.
