i use fruityloops, but is there any other **free** programs
that are better. im tyring for a breakcore edge and fruity

prolly Aodix tracker.

Although if you wanna do a Snares you might as well shell
out the few quid for Renoise cos there's barely a
chance you'll get a pirated version, and it's as close as
you'll get to what he uses.

Buzz holds a special place in my heart though; it's a great
piece of software.

Doesn't Snares still use MED SoundStudio?

It's the tracker you see on that VSnares web site that
Planet Mu links to..

It's the PC version of the old Amiga tracker OctaMED - It's
very similar to Renoise, and most trackers really, just much
more hardcore - i.e. less graphics, less features, more
numbers.

I've started to think Renoise has a slightly harsh mid-range
sound... It's been bothering me a little lately...

I'm thinking MED's gonna become my main tracker from now
on...
