what one thing would you go back in to rescue? mine would
have to be my computer, because its not insured. plus
rescuing one record would be silly, when i have 1500 to pick
from. i would burn to death whilst trying to make my mind
up.

what would you risk death to get?

The present my girlfriend gave me before going away. She
made it herself for me and it's irreplaceable.

cd's you can easily just buy again. I'd go for my casiotone
synth and my didgeridoos. and my cat.

Base unit of my pc. Everything else is replaceable...

The data on my PC is honestly the most valuable item to me
in my house.

I s'pose I'd better go back in and wake the rest of the
family up. Charred bodies leave an awful stain on the bed
sheets. They're a bugger to get off.

hahah

true tho. when i moved my stuff outside within 10 minutes,
my neighbour had tried to set fire to his half (which was
gutted)

the first time tho a cigarette set fire to a big box of
paints while i went outside with the phone, i came back to
this big fireball in the middle of the floor. my immediate
reaction was to smash the fireball out the door .. which
missed my brother by that much!

Shit...

My CDs (they're stored in two 250 CD binders so they aren't
too hard to transport), maybe my guitar (it's not that
amazing so maybe I'd let it go as an excuse to get a new
one), the drumsticks I've caught at rock n roll shows (WEEN,
2 Skinnee J's, The Urge, Molotov, maybe another.. I also
caught one at a Roots show but I gave it to my brother), and
maybe my family or something.

My computer and my cat. My cat if I was limited to just one
object.

But I'd kill myself afterwards anyway, so 'twould be all for
naught.

First of all, I'd rescue my girlfriend, our cat, my computer
(the tower), my drums or at least my two fat zildjians, and
the money I've got stashed somewhere.

I'd fucking panic if I woke up and the house was on fire.
House on fire while sleeping = true nightmare
