This movie sucked ass in my opinion.
Excellent acting, and the story tore me apart at one point, but it just kinda went *pffft*
I was twiddling my thumbs at the end. The editing left much to be desired, in that it was almost momento meets sean pen.
Worst part was the music, oh man it just didn't fit in with me at all.
Very well acted, but it pulled an Everclear: Sparkle and Fade....

So...
Do you like memento or not.?
I mean, Sean Penn's incredible sometimes.

memento was dope, and sean penn was really good.
but this was seriously, you could just feel the wasted storyline at the end.
I wanted to go, great, so what?

i thought this movie was good. i thought the story was interesting but there were some problems with the editing, it should have kept you guessing until the end instead of like 2/3 through the movie.
i thought the music was great, personally.
but the main thing that keeps me from really enjoying it is how similar it is to amores perros.

That puts my finger on it better, you kinda stopped caring cuz you knew what had happened no where near the end.
anti-climactic. It was also like, believe it or not, a move called "Return to Me" about a guy falling in a love with a girl, the girl was married to a guy who died, and the new lover has his heart......

Right. I hated the soundtrack. But I really hated the edited storyline at the first half. I guess im just fed up with seeing the same old "hey, lets cut up our movie out of time so it will look more interesting."

pulling an everclear!! haha
Del Toro in a drug movie? that must have been a stretch.
I recently rented Drug Wars, haven't watched it yet though.
