where to get good (clean - no interruption, etc) samples of
different string instruments? I know reason has a good bank
of sounds recorded using live orchestras.. so if someone
wants to wav those up for me that'd be great too ;p

of course, I could always comb through classical, other cds
to find them.. I am asking if there are any web resources
for this kind of thing

just look on file sharing networks for sample libraries

The Mach 5 sampler looks very impressive. I was reading
about it and the sheer scope of what you can do is fucking
quality. Plus it actually seems to work which is a bonus!
