bought a website!

So I just bought the website stvn.net - it will be up and
running with music, stuff to look at and download, and
probly a minor internet-label (called UR1337).
Hope some of you will join this thing as I (as some of you
may recall) talked about starting a virtual label some time
last year.
So now I will start it up by putting my upcoming fusion-band
on this label, and keep on releasing my own solo-projects
through this too.
This label-thing has no obligations and doesn't mean more
than the name itself. It's more for show and for showing
that we have a unity in non-label stuff.

hey Junktion -
cool, good luck with the projects! hope you didn't have to
pay a lot for that domain, it's pretty nice, stvn..

just updated my site and was thinking about maybe buying
more space in the future, or getting rid of the old stuff..

Would you like to host an upcoming ep by me? Or more to the
point do you want to?

the idea was that the artist would take care of the hosting,
and the EP/Album would be posted through my site,
with artist-info, etc.
But since I love your work so much (from when I was making
XLTvibes v.9), I think we can figure something out as a
site-startup bonus ;)

The only requirement to be a part of the stvn/UR1337-project
is:
1. Your EP/Album is in at least 192kbps mp3-format. No other
format is accepted.
2. Your EP/Album has a printable cover-layout with "UR1377"
written somewhere on it (preferably on the sides like where
you normally write warpcdxx or skamcdxx or whatever). Your
album will also get a catalogue-number.
3. I take care of site-layout but you take care of your
artist-info! All required info (which I will post something
about later on when the site is running) has to be there.
4. There are no obligations other than respect.
5. Any material than in any way is illegal or copyrighted
has to be cut away. I can't risk any form of lawsuit.

I will post more when I have a better clue on how I will
approach this. But until now, please prepare yourself to
this if your interested, and you can of course email me with
questions (please notice that I am without internet ATM, so
emails might take days, even weeks, to be answered).
This project is NOT a genre-thing. I want you on this no
matter which genre your into, but I'll keep it pretty
xltronic and local-based until I get some overview.

real interested in the idea + im having host issues at the
moment.

anyway, if your interested you could do the design and i
could build the app.

sure man...sounds good...

I'm doing the site in PHP (since I got pretty tired of ASP),
so I can't really remember if vbscript is a PHP-thing (?).
I'm thinking of making it a user site (like this one), but
where the users have acces to their profile-page, where they
link up their album, write info etc. And since i'm a retard
with databases, i'll probly need some help.

I have no internet at the moment, but i'm already developing
the layout/design. I'll email you when I have some stuff,
ok?

I'm up for joining this thing for sure. I don't really have
any suggestions though. Sorry.
