BEST GAME EVER!!!

Well, one of them... I got this for Christmas for the
Gameboy Advance, and it's so damn fun... I've always loved
the game, but never beat it, or really played it that
much... just enough to wet my appetite... and it's just been
so much fun playing this again... it's definitely one of my
favorites!

"nothing like jammin' to some old school mario beats while
shooting some pool"

That may be unusual to you, but I fucking listen to mario
theme tunes like they're aphex twin... I LOVE oldschool
video game music. :D

It is excellent. The Funkmaster can attest to my mastery of
it :D

I've jsut got F-zero for it. I think it's my favourite
incarnation of f-zero so far.

Probably still my favourite Mario game to be honest. Some of
the levels are brilliant.

Mr Funkmaster knows exactly what a skanky cheat you are,
with your 'no skill' cheap shots!

No that I'm bitter ;)

I second that- it's not the sort of thing I'd play much in
single player, but multiplayer it's in a league of its
own... it makes networking two GCs for 8 player games very
tempting.

super mario world! man it took me forever to beat that one
level in star world with the baloons and that long stretch
with no ground. I don't think I ever found all the secrets
in the game either.

yes, i remember that Secret Zone or something... the
"Outrageous" level was quite frustrating! ^^ (i still
managed to finish the Special Zone... but i never managed to
beat Bowser)

the lots of secrets and lots of levels made it a great
game.

now i still prefer the Sonic games (1, 2 & 3), Donkey Kong
Country 1 and maybe Mario 64, but Super Mario World is a
classic.

yes the Star Road was insanely difficult. But the Mario game
i will always remember is Super Mario RPG - that game will
ALWAYS be fun for me. :D

be sweet.

Super Mario Bros. 3 still entertains me highly to this date
- not much can be said for other games from that time
period. (he even uses the flute from the first Zelda to warp
in the same fashion that Link did for chrissakes! how great
is that?)

Shigeru Miyamoto is gaming's Van Gogh.

That's fantastic in mulitplayer- 4 player on two karts (half
the people are "gunners") is hilarious. Guaranteed to cause
more rifts in your family and friends at christmas than
monopoly :D

Street Fighter Alpha 3 for GBA is amazingly good too... just
like the arcade!

those special worlds were so hard (the world with the
famicon logo floating at the top of the screen).

didya ever notice if you just sat there before entering a
level in the special world and let the beat loop about 32
measures then the old school mario music would kick in?

Brilliant game, they all are. And Super Mario World 2 is one
of the most underrated games of all time, and at least 3 of
the 4 main level themes are among the best music I've ever
heard.

*hums Koji Kondo

the best is when you get the special worlds and then you
beat them all and the whole game changes color and then the
bad guys have little mario heads and such, and the jumping
plants are halloween type heads and stuff its great.

i always felt really guilty if in some way i caused yoshi's
death, by jumping off of his back when about to fall into a
pit, or leaving him for dead somewhere because he couldn't
climb/fly/etc..
