How likely is it that Aphex could have put some of his
unrealesed material into his DJ sets?

very likely i'd say...there're always plenty of tunes no one
knows in his sets

it might even be improvised noise and tunes at the time,
from what i've seen he's allways bent over something with
knobs, so he's never really just djing, theres always
something to manipulate when he's playing.

i agree.
considering he has 'millions' of finished tracks, hes bound
to use some that havent been released on lps or eps.

I would say 100% likely.

Watching him DJ there's more going on than just beatmatching
and mixing well. Also whenever a afx sounding tune comes on
he looks to the crowd to see what they're doing. Everytime I
thought "that's an aphexy tune" he'd look up. What better
way to get a fairly non-biased opinion than to drop it in a
Dj set of your own?

Yes- or it's something rephlex are considering putting out
(like amen andrews at atp for example) and he's testing the
water for that release.

this is true. i don't expect that if you make a mix for the
show though, just regular tracks you like a lot. have you
given it any more thought? still some time before you need
to decide, i guess, but let me know when you do..
