so, i want to make an idm compilation for a girl who's into dido, sting and whatnot, but hasn't heard (much) idm yet... so i'm thinking of easy-to-get-into stuff, not too abstract and experimental (confield, draft) or hard (vsnares)... i played her some ulrich schnauss already and she seemed to like it, which artists and particular tracks would you recommend for this compilation? help me bastards :) |

make it as varied as possible, dont avoid 'extremes', if you think v snares would be too much for a beginner then put it on! just be sure to put a similar but less harsh track or 2 before it. and dont skimp on the boc. |
