MATRIX REVOLUTIONS WAS GREAT!!!!!!!

There has been a lot of slagging off, of this movie, but I
for one that is was amazing. If you hated it, post in the
other threads on the board :D
I just hope that they don't do another one in a few years
time and ruin the whole thing.

I personally cannot wait for the DVD box set now of all
three films (and perhaps the Animatrix also)

Who else really enjoyed?

still not that good...

still haven't seen Reloaded yet.... need to though. i had
also heard much negative criticism surrounding this film.
however, these are film critics, and there have often been
times when I haven't agreed with them. *coughhack*english

what is your opinion, jedi chris, of this film? how do you
think a fan of the first film would respond?

In general the three films do make a good trilogy. Although
the first film was probably good enough to stand on its own,
had it not been the success it was.

True Matrix fans will love it regardless I think. I think
with many films such as this, many take the attitude of
'Well I think it could have ended better' .... but I tend to
think of it as ''thats how is was".....simple. If that
makes any sense? I will say that the highway scene from the
second film is by far the best.....but I really did enjoy
what I watched, and would go and see it again in the cinema
I think!

Definately.

You see many people thought the same with some of the Star
Wars films, not that I want to turn this topic into a
discussion about that, but George Lucas had a story to tell
and he told it......if you don't like it - just accept it.
That's all I'm saying. So on that note, yeah....go for it,
enjoy it, get a big bag of popcorn also. I would rent
Reloaded though first from the video store first

i enjoyed it. there were some things i wish they would've
spent more time explaining. and a few things i wish they
would've spent less time on. but, overall it ties up the
storyline in a satisfying way.

i give it a C+.

i'm seeing it again this afternoon.

just saw it... it was good, but I have to admit I was
dissappointed with the ending... but that's it...

In my opinion, the first is the best, because it's the
first... it's the one that started all the hype and shit,
and it blew me away... the second was amazing and had
amazing special effects, but obviously couldn't be as good,
cause it was just a continuation, and didn't have the same
effect cause we knew the story and such a bit... it was as
good as it could be I think... this third one was a little
dissappointing to me because of the ending... but do like
Chris said, and take it as it is... it's a good movie, and
the trilogy is a great one...

also, I hope and pray that these guys don't butcher the
story by doing three prequels, or three sequels or
whatever... end it now, for God sake, do not kill this like
George Lucas is doing with Star Wars... seriously, episodes
1 and 2 or star wars I found SOOOOO boring... well, Episode
1 was ok cause I was so pumped to see a new star wards
movie, but really they both sucked...

ok, i am making a mental note of anyone who thinks the third
matrix was quote unquote a good movie (or, horror of
horrors, the "mtv spring break does the matrix" reloaded)
and will never, ever take yr recommendation ever again. WHAT
THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!!!?!?! the dialogue was
written by a bunch of fourteen year olds with boners!

better than reloaded, but that isn't saying much.

After the studio called their bluff about actually making
the trilogy, they ran out of creativity and ideas real
fast.

not awful, but not much better.

my friend fell asleep thirty minutes into the movie, and
missed the big mechwars battle where the main character is
absent for a good half hour. probably one of the worst
sequels ever, and definitely the worst ending to a series. i
actually like pieces of reloaded, maybe because it held a
strange mystique/insanity about it. but this was just crap.
pure, unadulterated crap.
and whats with the guys on the ceiling in the club lobby
scene? is there something advantageous about it or did they
just realize they were in "the matrix revolutions" and might
want to do some cool shit?

after a second viewing i've upgraded my review from a C+ to
a B+.

the symetry in the story never ceases to amaze me.

smith, the yin to neo's yang. neo, the 'one', smith, the
'many'. oracle and architect; black, female, visionary,
driven by emotion / white, male, binary thinker, driven by
logic.

etc, etc...

very well done sci-fi trilogy. yay!

if they'dve spent a little less time on link and his bitch,
and trinity's drawn out death scene, and spent that time
giving a little more backstory on the merovinian and the
trainman my B+ would be an A, no doubt.
