Listening to this album atm....although it's totally
different from Polyfusia, More Like Space and Pure, Impure
it still has that typical Seefeel sound. Opinions?

Yeah and when the discog is finally ready it'll be EVEN
cooler to make discuss threads for Quique and CH-VOX. It'd
be LIKE 180734590% COOL instead of 180734589% !!!!!!111

seefeel have to be one of the most under-rated bands in the
history of music;not by the people who know there music, but
by those who dont.so influential and ahead of their time its
untrue.
time for a discog i reckon.

I have most of the Seefeel releases (CD) - so if the
discography needs fleshed out I can help.

Here is an old page about them with all the major
releases.

Heh, I'm working on that too you know!

Could have had ch-vox if it wasn't for some cunt who outbid
me by £1 in the last 20 secs on eBay :(

However, Polyfusia is being sent to me probably shortly
after christmas, with many thanks to the Jedi! :D

Strange thing I notriced is that most people seem to think
there are only 10 tracks on Succour (Utreat being the last).
However, the album cover mentions a no. 11 without a title.
The untitled last track is actually the 2nd part of Utreat
(after the short silence) and it's a very dark, very calm
2:44 long ambient track :)

Is ch-vox hard to get?!? I used to have a copy but now I
cant find it. I hope it's at my parents place...or at my
brother's x-girlfriend's place (fucking hell, I have to take
better care of my treasures!!!)

i bought a copy of ch-vox a month or so ago. brand new on
vinyl for 8 quid. very happy. i know of a little backwater
shop that is full of old vinyl. lovely album too.

Hell yeah it's hard to get...out of print since years I
think (the album was released in '96)

eXXailon > thanks for the info! : )
i was looking for a secret track elsewhere... ^^

btw that 11th track is called Tempean.... it's listed on the
official warp page. and there is also written "(Tempean)" in the
booklet somewhere. a little bit hidden, somewhat.

i really like the video for Fracture too, but i've only seen
it in streaming from the warp website = /

i don't know if it can be found in good quality somewhere...

this is the only album I have of Seefeel.

and I think it's pretty boring. it doesn't do much for me.

uzim: thanks for mentioning the track title!! I've tried
searching for a better quality version of the Fracture
video, but no luck :(

My favourite off Succour is Extract, very hypnotic.

A brillant remix off this album is 'When Face Was Face' by
Isan. Isan give the track a brillant build, and a rocket
launch bass line.

You can find the remix on WARP 10+3 REMIXES WARPCD69

the fracture video was played quite a bit on tv.i even
remember seeing it on itv once (i remember thinking that was
quite a breakthrough at the time).anyway,i agree its a
pretty lush video.kind of shifts from blue to red as the
song gets more dense.in case anyones interested,it was made
by mark clifford and sarah peacock from the band.

just because im here now and im not often,i have to add that
i think 'succour' is a massively under-rated album.agreed
its really hard work, but it pays off because it has such
incredible depth.and, like 'Quique',theres just bee nothing
vaguely like it since.its completely unique.a masterpiece.
