as i get older, i seem to dislike holidays more and more - in fact I dread their coming. i mean, when i was a kid, halloween and christmas were very special days - now i could care less. maybe i'm just bitter, or maybe... i'm just bitter. bah humbug. |

yeah - it's especially bad around here, near the malls and such... you can barely get anywhere in December. i was working at a Gamestop last Christmas - it was chaos. |

No way, man... Christmans is like the only time I'm happy. Halloween... not so much. Just an excuse for kids to get wasted and cause trouble, here at least. At least I'll get all the leftover candy. |

it's supposed to be about love and giving i guess... but all i would see on holidays is my parents fighting - and as I got older, I got less and less gifts I enjoyed. even worse is easter - "jesus died for your sins!! so hunt for chocolate eggs!" :P |

Testify. There's a lot of commercial, material bullshit, but for God's sake, it's ''the most wonderful time of the year''. My family seems to put all their petty shit aside during the holidays, so it's great for me personally. I just hate going to Christmas Eve mass, I always get there late and I have to stand in the lobby for an hour because the seats are all taken. Fuck that. |

I love chrismas time in the northern states, but in Florida its just a fucking joke, I can't really listen to songs about putting logs on the fire when its still 75 degrees and sunny. Like Kevin McCallister once mused, what am I supposed to do, decorate a palm tree? (although I think it was actually his mom that suggested this, but its been a long while since seeing this and its HOME ALONE so who gives a fuck). I don't think Christmas can really be enjoyed without the smell of winter abound (some of you know what I'm talking about) and some snizzow, fo shizzle. |
